  • Force quit notifications..

Have to stop 🛑. I close all of my apps after using. Who are you to tell me to keep it open? No! Bad idea. BTW, if you want to see who’s calling you, download Reverse Lookup.
  • Wish list

I have the free version and, so far, I’m happy with it. My wish, however, would be for an easier way to enter. A number to block. Right now I have to type a number in; that means I have to go back and forth between Hiya and the phone number. Maybe there is, but I haven’t figured it out yet.
  • Get get Update prompt off. Very annoying

The minute you update and close icon. Update pops up again. 😞
  • Remove notification when force closing the app

    By htmlgod
Right now the app generates a notification when force closing the app. This is after the data has updated. I don’t need the app open for Hiya to work, so why complain to the user when they force close the app? It makes no sense.

Nothing works on the latest update. Keep getting authentication error when looking up phone number details.
  • No more free call blocking

We do the work of reporting spam callers for free, now they want to charge us for call blocking. Shady
  • Great app; annoying notifications

    By grumpyhonky
I usually rate this app 5 stars, but the most recent update automatically triggers an iPhone notification wherever you force-close the app. There’s no option to disable this notification. I’ve had to disable ALL Hiya notifications on my phone for now, because this constant notification is annoying and distracting. I’ll increase my rating once this notification either becomes a configurable option or is removed from the app altogether. If I choose to force-close an app, it is my decision to do so, and constant notifications become quite irritating and insulting.
  • Not very good

Partially blocks numbers, I still get many spam calls.
  • One star because....

I purchased a one year subscription of the app and bought a new phone yesterday. I downloaded the hiya app and tried to restore my subscription to no avail. 😡😡
