Dear Microsoft: Do yourself a favor and bring the mac office suite functionality up to par with windows. Mac users aren't going to switch to PCs, and even if we do, it's truly awful that you make us learn a whole new experience. You've evolved beyond petty platform wars. It's 2020. Get going.

Very frustrated with Outlook. I have 53,000 emails in my inbox from the last ~9 years and I'm having a near impossible time of getting those backed up and archived so I don't have to synchronize all the messages when setting up my account on a new device.

  • Extremely buggy

I'd say i generally prefer outlook over mail but it is extremely buggy on the mac. Search functionality defaults to from all the time, when I'm simply looking for a name. It crashes frequently with the new update. It doesn't allow for text replacement from the mac keyboard. Isn't near as user friendly as I'd have hoped.

Oulook for the Mac is most comonly used but I have faced continual problems with using verizon.net as as an address, ever scince AOL was aquired by Verizon. Emails are lost, then come in duplicates. Verizon says it's Outlook's fault and vice versa. One other glitch: If rules move emails to other than the Inbox, these emails do not appear on my iPhone, as it synchs only with the Inbox
  • Used to like outlook more than others

It's a good interface, however, I updated my mac which required the new version of outlook. Now my office 365 email i use for one of my clients is not accepted. microsoft now wants me to pay, subscribe, and create a new account just to be able to use my other accounts online, including one which is already a 365 business account. Not going to happen. Since i'm contracted, i don't use the organization's computers where they likely already have outlook installed. Guess its back to thunderbird or apple's email client for me.

I've tried everything to allow this app to remeber this device for 30 day, but it still won't let me do that. I've enabled all cookies on this Mac, but the Outlook app still won't allow me to click on the "Remeber me for 30 day tab." This needs to be fixed, at least for Macs.
