    - Crashes when you rate a video at the end or press cancel for next video. - Noticed political propaganda in “History of weapons” series about AK47

I didn’t see that it cost anything until I clicked on the app to down load it. I don’t like getting ripped off like that. Cancel my subscription!

You make it impossible to unsubscribe to this crap of a app. You ripped me off and i have a lot of people behind me your app stole from. I’m asking with all the respect in the world please refund my money before i report this scam and become the owner. Please thank u and have a blessed day

They do not tell you what the price is until you download it. You can cancel and it is your responsibility or you continue to pay. There is nothing easy about canceling
  • From the perspective of a software developer

Full disclosure: I didn’t bother to complete the sign-up process. Missing features that led to uninstall: - password autofill support - promo code box during purchase process Opinion: The sign-up process in an app often gives a great deal of insight into an app development team’s attention to detail: whether creating the app was a labor of love for them or just another job where the details aren’t as important (and often written-off at the expense of the user). Based solely on the UX, I got the feeling it’s the latter here. I ended up quitting mid account-setup. After noticing the high app-store reviews I thought I’d take a little time to explain myself. Hopefully my feedback helps someone out!
  • Good content but the app needs work

Why is it so buggy when flipping from portrait to horizontal? Why can’t it use the accelerometer to do this? Why does it often freeze the video the first time it’s flipped to horizontal? Why does it recommend things I already watched- and why not indicate that I’ve already seen it, instead of drowning my suggestions with things that belong in my history? Also Is there a way to sort by content length?
  • Apple TV app fails

I love the content. I subscribed via Apple TV. When I try to play on a different Apple TV (also mine), it wants me to sign in with my Curiosity Stream account. I don't have a Curiosity Stream account... it's an Apple TV subscription. Most apps would have a "restore purchases" button. The Apple TV does show that I am subscribed when I check my subscriptions menu, but the app wont work. Please fix.

Randomly skipping to next episode halfway through shows and even changing shows altogether by itself on IOS app and browser. I really wanted this to work better. I understand they don’t have a Netflix budget but I still feel like they can get some of these bugs out of the app.
  • Using VoiceOver? Don’t bother

I’m so disappointed in this app. As a science lover who is blind I was really excited about a service dedicated to documentaries. I signed up for the free trial and...can’t search, browse, use the video player controls at all, or even look at the screen with what vision I do have because the app completely breaks down with the invert colors on. This is a mess and frankly there’s no excuse for it. Even Hulu, which is pretty hit or miss with text to speech controls, allows for the basics. CuriosityStream can’t even be bothered with that. For something dedicated to spreading knowledge and learning to everyone, it’s pretty sad to see thousands of customers shut out over accessibility issues that are very easily fixed. I’ll be the first to come back if this app becomes even remotely accessible.
