Our focus at Raya is to provide members with access to exciting people and opportunities around the world. We are a private community where people come to connect for dating, networking, and friendship. – Prospective members may download the app and submit an application. Once submitted, applications are placed in queue and reviewed continually. An applicant's status can change from "waitlisted" to "accepted" at any time. Once accepted, members have the option to purchase a 1, 6, or 12 month auto-renewing membership and will have full functionality of the entire service while their subscription is active. Raya's community values – trust, respect, and privacy – are core to the membership experience. Members who act in a manner that is not reflective of these values and other community guidelines may have their accounts suspended or terminated. Similarly, Raya exhibits those values as a company by giving members full control over their visibility within the community at all times and ensuring that personal information is secure and never shared, among other things. Initial payment is charged via iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase and auto-renewals are charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the applicable period. Auto-renewal may be turned off at any time through iTunes Account Settings. Any subscription cancellation will be effective at the end of the applicable period. • Do you guys discriminate against people of color?

    By neefsssdff
Still waiting to be accepted after I don’t know how many months. As a public figure with a large following I’m often surprised that people who are unknown and usually fit the mold of the skinny white woman, only leads me to believe that this site discriminates against people of color. Prove me wrong and accept my application. I want to see what all the fuss is about. I’m tired of regular dating apps and as someone who has lived half their live on television, I’d like a little more discretion, hence why I tried to get on this app
  • Doesn’t serve it’s purpose

    By Simplyastar
This app is advertised as a dating app that well known / influential individuals can use. This eliminates many problems for us. Being seen as our own catfish, having to go through problems of being used or manipulated etc. but that’s not what Raya is. It’s a connection or rejection kind of thing. A few ppl who are completely unknown and haven’t even worked in the entertainment industry aside from I think working a regular job at an agency or something of the sort- are on the app. U google them nothing comes up their names are not known and they don’t have issues using regular dating apps that this app is supposed to clear up. They have connections with the app so they are on it. Myself and a few of my friends who are well known models with press, interviews, clear media and social media presence, and work in the industry have been “waitlisted” for over a year now. With over 100k and 12 years in the industry, a google knowledge panel and a large amount of sources that reveal my work I am still waitlisted when people who have not once actually worked in the industry and have not once had a catfish account made or have had any problems using regular dating apps- are on it. Side note I ALSO had one of the most famous and well known models (one of my best friends) take the time out of his day to recommend me and they still have me waitlisted.. it’s about status and connections unfortunately. Otherwise this could’ve been a great app. I was literally banned off of tinder because too many people used my own photos for catfish accounts so they thought I was a catfish of myself. This is why I thought raya would be a great resource for me and for others like me, but it seems like simply a game of who’s relevant and who they think can be salty enough about not getting approved to make their app look more exclusive. Such a waste I’m pretty let down.
  • Code to apply

How do we get a referral code?
  • Application

    By thebeautyofprose
You want to fill out an application to sign up but I don’t have instagram and don’t do social media. Your email doesn’t allow for replies, so that’s why I’m commenting. If that’s a requirement, consider me not applying.
  • Not a dating app. Trash.

Sadly after years of being on this app, I have rarely been shown singles in LA where I live, and have rarely been messaged once we do match. This app seems like a glorified Instagram with no inspiration for people to find love, just create a highlight real making them all look like celebrities. Many probably don’t even have real jobs or the financial security to pay for the app. There’s also no help access. I had to reach out on Instagram to find out why I’m being shown singles in foreign countries or NY/Miami. If the app really supported people in finding love, it would show me options in my city.
  • Not really a community for artists

    By Aabrosen
If it really was it would clearly see from our instagram that we are really part of our industry. They only want Instagram which tells me they are only looking for your following count rather than your work. Hence they only want insta famous people. If you’re crew, You’ll just sit on the wait list for years.
  • Obvious Bias in selection process.

    By cougar205
When you sign up it asks you for the over arching field in which you work, but it’s missing about half the applicable job markets. Technical and BC jobs specifically. Seems kinda elitist.

    Love this app
  • Homophobic

    By RyanS1989
Have been waitlisted for up to a year with the top referrals and perfect instagram engagement. Homophobic & Bias.
  • Discriminatory Against POC

    By Emmah27383
Almost every single person of color I know has been rejected. Even if they have a huge number of celeb referrals and major accomplishments. Yet skinny blondes with no accomplishments are approved.
