I don’t see what the other people had trouble with. It’s simple and useful and really helps you manage your Alexa device.
  • Always prompts for me to turn on Bluetooth on my phone

Pretty useful app. Every time I open it, it asks me to turn on Bluetooth to allow Alexa to connect to “accessories” though. Seems shady since I don’t have Alexa accessories. If it didn’t bother me about that I’d give this five stars. Edit: Reduced to three stars. These pop ups requests to enable Bluetooth are happening more and more frequently and even when I’m not home and the app is closed.

Update 2: Dang it!!! They took out volume control AGAIN with this update! Why are you guys doing this??? Why do you keep breaking an app that does not need to be fixed???? SMDH! Enough aleady! Update: YOU FIXED IT!!! Thanks for putting back this important feature and listening to the suggestions of our users! Back to 5 stars again ya’ll! Uuuuugh! This new update took out the ability to control the volume of the echo device from this app when using the echo as a blue tooth speaker. Was very convenient for the type of work I do. Why would they eliminate this???Please put that feature back on...

Updated app is terrible when trying to do anything with music. We have 4 devices that we use for music. It used to be easy to control all devices. Now I can’t even find where it shows anything regarding the music playing. Why did it change???? 😖

Now it’s so convoluted and anything you want to use is buried. Wanna play your music from your amazon library? Good luck finding it in the directory. And yeah I could ask Alexa to play a song but she won’t play a song from my library if it isn’t included in the music unlimited. I used to pay $25 a year for a really great Amazon Music feature. But they killed that. Let me be able to play my music and find it quickly again. I don’t care that Alexa can tell me knock knock jokes. That nonsense way up front on the app and in my face is obnoxious.
