I’ve been using the TomTom app for years but I was wondering how often the 3D building views are updated? My city still does not have it. Otherwise very happy with it. Added: City is Grand Rapids, Michigan. Second largest city in Michigan. I’ve been to a few comparable sized cities and they have the 3D view of buildings and such but not GR

  • Stop buying app.

I am sick of Apple and it developers stealing from their users. I downloaded the try version of this app back in 2014. After the try period was over with, I purchase the app for $24.99 back in 2014. Little did I know that I was going to be stuck in try version forever. For technical reasons I needed to reinstall this a. The problem is every time I install the app, it start me up with a try version which quickly goes in to lockout mode making the app useless. When I click on login, I get a message that says “subscription ended”. However the receipt I got from Apple mentioned nothing about my purchase being a subscription. When I go to the support page, the want me to enter a user name and password for which I have none. NEVER AGAIN WILL I buy a third party app to use on my personal device. The Apple pre installed app are more than enough for any user level. STOP BUYING APPS. Apple is already rich. Apple, stop stealing from you user.
  • UK use only

Was a lifetime subscriber to TomTom USA. App worked fine till it was discontinued. Was redirected to TomTom GO and offered to transfer my subscription over for free. Attempts failed and was constantly referred to TomTom’s UK site where I was told purchases only ship to the U.K. Offered the option to shop US but my subscription could not be located. Neither app works now. Oh well there’s always Google and Waze. No need to waste money or time on this app.
  • Offline Use Buggy - Could Get Stranded

I bought this many years ago and now it’s a subscription app and I can no longer use the lifetime app I paid for. I paid for a month to month plan. The app tries to connect to the internet each month to phone home and renew. When it couldn’t because I don’t have data, I was not able to launch the app. It kept telling me to sign up for a plan, which I was already subscribed to! Infuriating! I could have been stranded, but I found a store with WiFi. It still didn’t detect that I had a plan. So I clicked to sign up for the monthly plan. It wouldn’t let me because I was already signed up. I thought I’d contact support. That option in the app simply boots you out to a website. The cookies message takes up nearly all of the screen on my iPhone. I could not make it go away. It would not let me click accept or decline. So frustrating. You’d think big name companies would not release buggy apps. You’d think Apple would do a better job keeping buggy apps out of its store.

I have been using the application after the last update and I don't even have to modify my review because they have improved this application so much. Let me suggest you enter vehicle icons. ( He estado usando la aplicación después de la última actualización y ni siquiera tengo que modificar mi revisión porque han mejorado mucho esta aplicación. Déjame sugerirte que ingreses los íconos de los vehículos)
  • Longtime user and continuing

Been using it for quite a number of years ever since the original 2011 TomTom app. It was a classic, and it is also moved forward along with the future. Got a 3 year subscription from my old app, which is more than enough, will be glad to pay 12.99 a year in the future after that. If google search results can be back, like many years ago, everything will simply be PERFECT.

Return my initial $50 for buying the app. Why would I pay for an app when there are enough good free nav apps available? Can I get that 1 star back?

  • Total ripoff!

I paid $100 for this app when it first came out and now I’m being told I have to pay a monthly subscription? There are free GPS apps that work great. This is a complete ripoff. Don’t waste your money. Goodbye TomTom!
