  • Amazing Study app

This app is honestly amazing and I wish I would have found out about it earlier when I was in high school or the beginning of college because I know it might sound lame to say but it actually makes taking notes pretty fun and easy. That being said, I wish you could insert graphs that extrapolate from a data set for math notes, and I wish there was a better way to save the actual projects. For example, the projects don't really save as much as sync to the cloud. I much prefer to keep my files local. Lastly, I wish there was an easier way to view the notes outside of the app, because as of right now, if I try to send my notes to a friend to either show them how cool the program is or even just to share my notes, the only way I can do it if they dont have One Note is to save as pdf and send like that, but the format is always messed up and the background is always white as opposed to the dark background I have set in my notes

I'm enjoying onenote in theory. I had early syncing issues, hence 3/5 since I'm scared. It's getting better. I'm now using it on mac and windows (personal and work), and wish the theme and layout was consistent between operating systems. I also wish there were more flags available, or the ability to fully customize the colors of current flags.

Create a Microsoft account? Once you "create" one, it doesn't exist nor allow you to sign in.

  • Lots of error messages

I keep getting error messages and then kicked out. And it won't let me insert shapes. When I try to insert them, you can't see them even. I've tried everything to make them appear and they won't.
  • Mostly great, several UX kinks to work out

Overall, I love the way that OneNote is structured, where it allows me to flexibly maintain several different notebooks, allowing me to track and cleanly organize all my disparate thoughts. That said, there are still several smallish UX issues in the actual note-taking workflows across both web and desktop products. E.g.: - I highlight one word to bold, and two get bolded - Bullets disappear if I move away from a line, and then back - And at least a dozen other little things
