  • Very clunky/slow. Underwhelming and featureless.

I’ve spent a couple days debating on what radar app to purchase for my Apple Watch 4. I decided to go middle of the road for $4.99. I immediately regretted my decision. The watch app is 100% trash. The radar never loads or refreshes past “in 0 min”. There is no zoom (the crown does nothing)nor is there any animation as described! When I tap on the radar map it automatically brings up apple maps! Why is it doing this? Force touch does nothing. Even after a hard reset ... nothing is fixed. The iphone/ipad is featureless. The animation even on “fast loop” is EXTREMELY slow, glitchy and clunky. It’s not smooth or fast in any way shape or form. I’ve tried all speed settings and the limited 8,5,4 frames. The radar is not crisp HD either but more blob-like. Needless to say these apps needs a major overhaul. The described features simply do not work. Such a giant waste of time and money! I’ll stick to the quality more efficient free apps for now.
  • Had to delete and reload again

I’ve had this weather app for 3 years. While I like the radar coverage choices, it has messed up 4 times that I can recall. I’ve had to delete and reload the app and then set up each city I’m following each time. Also the radar is usually 5 minutes behind real time. Very frustrated! Jo

I really like this app but it’s bad overdue an update.
  • Location

The tab showing your location stays on the screen much too long.
  • TS Barry

    By WayneD7
Received notification at 12:12 PM from you that TS Barry formed in the Atlantic. How can I trust this app, if you don’t know the difference between the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico.
  • Love this app!

I’m a weather info junkie— I have like five different app. Love to know what my day and week will be like, at home or traveling. As my kids travel on their own, I can stay up to date on their weather conditions too! Just got an alert for hazardous weather for one son and I could let him ASAP. I do wish it featured more of the details I can only get on the NOAA website— the improvements to the NOAA “Local Weather” are wonderful— and I want them on the app, too!
  • Don’t worth the purchase price

No instructions. Trying to remove pins. During weather evens too cluttered
  • Great app

I worked with the fire department through hurricane Hugo. This app would’ve been great. Everyone should have this app.
  • Good near real time of conditions

I would love this app if you could provide the NOAA forecast models. It’s hard to toggle between different screens. If you could have one click and show the hourly forecast with wind, rain and all of the other data in your pinpoint forecasts that would be awesome!
  • Needs help with Hurricanes

Purchased for the Hurricane alerts, but completely regret wasting my money. This app does not differentiate between Pacific and Atlantic Hurricanes. I get so many hurricane notifications from the Pacific it causes notification fatigue. I had to disable the alerts because so few of them actually applied to the east coast. If you are on the east coast and looking for a good Hurricane warming system, this isn’t it.
