  • Still works with 2011 Mac as of 6/10/19

Works great for remoting into windows workstations and servers. Took less than a few seconds to setup.
  • It's so weak for backup and restore

  • Is there a multiuser or multisession version of this app.

    By Luisfpergo
I think the app is great. Currently I am working with it, but the only issue is that I share the server with more people, and we are trying to find a way to work at the server two people at the same time.
  • Annoying Top Bar

    By Rezapple
When I am already connected to a server with this app I move my mouse around to the top it will drop down the menu bar when I don't need it. When I want to close a window by clicking on the red X box in right corner of the screen it will drop down menu bar blocking me from closing a window very annoying. VMware does not do that, VMware will wait for the mouse to touch the top bar and wait if the mouse point still there for 10 or more seconds then it will drop down menu for me which is better than dropping every seconds I touch the top bar.
  • Overall good, but....

My main problem with this version is the way it handles the cursor control. It appears to be emulating a touch screen interface because trying to select portions of text become difficult with a mouse. It will "jump" to select an entire word or make it difficult to select a whole block of text. And this is when I'm using a regular mouse, so there's really no reason for it to do this. As a developer this can be very frustraing. When I'm using my Mac or sitting in front of the actual PC this doesn't happen - only when using RDP.
  • Deprecated: Use MS Remote Desktop 10

    By M. J. Anderson
MS Remote Desktop 8 has been deprecated and, as of the time of this writing, MS Remote Desktop 10 should be used instead. I reached this application from the Apple Store application as a recommendation in the Develop >> More Helpful Tool. Makes me a little skeptical of the quality of the other recommendations.
  • No Split screen

    By JFUCE
Useless without split screen. THe older version wolrs correctly.
  • Great by WHY THE HECK???

    By Home synth
    1. Why the heck would the Connection Center not open up automatically every time I open the app. Heck even when I go to Window | View Connection Center, half the time I have to do that more then once just to get the Connection Center window available in order to choose a connection I want. 2. Why the heck would you make the Connection Center window not resizable? 3. Why the heck would you not persist the state of the groups? If I close a group or two that would at least keep me from having to scroll so much…SINCE THE WINDOW ISN’T RESIZABLE.
  • Better than Rel. 8, except...

    By JDG27
Seems smoother and quicker than version 8 was except for one feature. I typically use in full screen mode. In prior version I was able to split the full screen with a Mac app. That functionality no longer seems there. Please fix this.
