  • A good solid dictionary

    By Scribbledehobble
The definitions are full. The app works well. I use the Dictionary regularly, and have nothing to complain about. I can only report how satisfied I am with it.

Five Stars! This dictionary is very useful when I need to look up a word I found online quickly.

Great dictionary with easy to understand, complete, comprehensive definitions plus how they sound! And very good word origins! Now my favorite dictionary!

    Strongly recommend it.
  • Two Stars is for Annoying

    By Anfractuous
It seems as if every other opening of the app I am confronted with a pop-up message that demands the owner of the app (me —I paid for it) to "Rate the App." In order to remove the clickable message and get down to the business of definitions, it presents only two options: "Not Now," implying you WILL rate it at some point. The second option is "Rate 5 Stars." I need not waste words explaining why that's just wrong. Some of the words running across my thoughts are "boorish," "gauche," "unctuous." So here I am rating it.
  • An annoyance

    By Mountainbound%
One doesn't buy a quality dictionary for such a price and expect to be intruded upon by a screen-blocking demand to rate the app 5 stars, every single time the app is opened. This is hugely annoying! So no, it is not a 5 star app, then. The developer should be fined for ruining an otherwise useful dictionary with this.
  • Rating screen

It’s really good but I’m taking one star because it kept incessantly pestering me to come on here and give it five stars. That was really annoying and I’m hoping it will leave me alone now.
  • Hard to navigate and create categories

    By dnpkl
Cannot figure out how to add words to categories as shown in sample in App Store. Not easy to navigate. Sorry I got it.
  • Excellent app

    By docweddle
I really like the word pronunciation (heard thru my iPhone enabled ear phones) part of the app.
