  • Good app for what i need

    i hired a carpet cleaner and house cleaners from this app and they were communicative. The required rating is ok and i’m not sure why people are so worked up with it, just click a star then that’s it. The businesses in this app deserve those reviews/star rating to promote their business so don’t be stingy about it.

    I had a couple calls. They wete on time and found the problems quickly. Both men were displaying courtesy amd professionalism i reccomend signing up for seasonal check ups and cleanings. They know you will stay with them and are very quick to come out and solve your problems

  • Credit card highjacked

    1. This app will only allow you to use it if you FIRST add your credit card information 2. Customers can’t delete their credit card information 3. It’s nearly impossible for customers to delete their account 4. It’s impossible to contact HouseCall customer service. I have tried in every way possible. 5. Contractors can track your movement. Make sure your Location feature is turned off before accessing this app 6. I hired an electrician he only took payment via the HouseCall app. I didn’t mind making payment this way but now this app HouseCall won’t allow me to delete my credit card information or my account. I hate this app!!!

    Biggest peeve is that I’m unable to view current work with a vendor unless I rate the last service. I don’t like being forced to do this, and I need to see current jobs.
  • Multiple flaws make this junk

    First of all every time I use it I'm forced to give a rating. That's crap I don't want to be forced to give a rating every time I go in to review something. Secondly I've been using the same cleaning service for a year and I want to change. But when I go to search they only show me my current cleaner, stupid. Or maybe that's the only one they have to offer which means worthless. Bills I pay online show payment due on the app and I cannot delete them.

    Air conditioner not working in triple digits weather! 2.5 weeks , Child in home and home owner with Heath issues. I would rate this company a ((minus)) if it were possible! Ok let's start with technician, he comes out looks at unit says I don't have the right tools that he's going to have come out later. Almost a (((week later))) he comes back I said where's your help? He looked at me weird, I said your office lady said there would be two guys working to help get this fixed sooner. He had no clue. So does things to air conditioner, says he can't figure it out that I need a new one. (((Week later))). They schedule appointment to install Friday with new unit. I call to confirm get Voicemail.... then appointment email saying appointment changed to Saturday next day ... I called talk to Jennifer that runs office ((horrible)) and unprofessional Person' to work with!!! Back and forth, they wanted to charge more then what's cover in the hundreds. So it was holding up work, blaming insurance company. No one called me to tell me any of this. Ok now we are talking two weeks in triple digit weather. I got a hold of a supervisor of my home owner insurance again. (( By Monday a new technician from a different company came out )) Omg he fixed it within 1.5 hour Didn't need a new one just a little cleaning and new motor so all that suffering from the heat was for not!!!! Triple digits 2.5 weeks total no air conditioning We suffered, I have been so sick, went to ER and doctors twice over it. My child got sick towards the end of second week. I missed some work and couldn't cook but only microwave. I'm the customer and I pay my bills own my home. This was horrible, uncaring, unprofessional, unexceptionable!!! All because of lack of knowledge and unprofessional office clerk that doesn't follow through and blames everyone else. ((She was very rude)). I would never use them again nor trust them to do the job right!!! I was treated horrible by this office person Jennifer. She sounds like she's had too many smoke breaks.
