Next time I look at the app it changes it back to 15, and I lose my streak! Very annoying.

  • Funny performers but the app is off

Started off well. I even bought the annual package but after a while I started realizing some of the phrases weren’t right. I chose Spain Spanish but when I asked a Spanish friend of mine if people really say aggrarse in pedo or some of the other phrases they said that’s was more Mexican Spanish. Then I got to the part where we learn how to say what floors and they said la primera plants was the second floor but I know enough Spanish to know primera means first. Just several things like that that made me question whether I trust what I’m learning
  • Great!

Loving the new immersion tab. Finding audio/video of native speakers can be kind of intimidating, and I’m loving the new (to me) tab that makes it easy to dip your toes in. There’s no replacement for fully immersing yourself in a different language and culture by actually going to the country, but it’s important to still do what you can with whatcha got. Thanks Memrise!
