After playing this game for many years, after archiving over 180 levels and spending several hundred dollars my scores are getting lower and lower. I’ve worked hard to progress, I’ve invested in levels and power ups. I routinely scored 75-100 million points in a game. Then all of a sudden, I can’t get 30m with the same power ups. This is no accident, this is EA changing the game. I can’t tell you after all these years and the money I spent how disappointed I am. This is not an accident. This is a money grab.

Software quality is poor. App crashes, buttons disappear, screen goes black, rewards are lost, etc. Does anyone perform functionality and regression tests before product revision release? Second review several weeks later. This app has degraded significantly over the past several weeks. Program crashes and or goes to either a black or white screen consistly. It’s hard believe the glowing 4.5-5.0 ratings. Ratings should be reset after every newbproduct revision release. They must be old ratings. I hope Apple is monitoring this poorly performing app? Maybe Apple could care less.
  • Game Title is Wrong, Wrong, Wrong

The name of this game should be Tetris Crash. More often than not this game crashes all the time. Never does a day go by when the game does not crash repeatedly. I would not be surprised if the App Store crashed before I end this review. The Bonus Blitz Board is highly rigged to allow a minimum of choices. It should be random like a fair game lottery, but it is not. It is designed to get hard cash out of your wallet.
  • Zero stars still.

Game used to be great but that was years ago. Now it’s a complete rip-off. Don’t spend money on this game. Completely overdeveloped and full of glitches. The game is designed to sucker you in to spending money so you can win. Every feature of this game is manipulated, rigged, controlled and fake. The developers constantly tinker with the power ups and finishers so that they can control scores and outcomes. You work hard to unlock items and maybe even pay money and then they pull the bait and switch and nerf the items you worked so hard for. They are constantly nerfing items and then enhancing them later, and then they claim credit for improving the game. Don’t fall for it.

I’m done with this game, and it breaks my heart. It boosts power-ups to what they should be, like they did over this past Christmas and New Years, only to de-power up a few weeks after. I loved this game. Even when I knew I was being ripped off to pay for shards or champion packs, whatever. It’s addictive. And it would be more addictive if EA played fair and rewarded good play with proper upgrades and boosts like they should. Instead, they yo-yo the power of power ups where for awhile they’re what they should be, then they rip that away from you and leave you with subpar, weak power ups that could as well not exist. Doesn’t matter anymore I guess, because I’m through, I’ve had it with this crap...and I still secretly wish it could be better, be what it should be as opposed to be what it is, a money-grubbing scam of a game that should be outlawed for its criminal practices!

I’ve recently noticed when using the power-up of “Super Seven” in game mode, I was able to get only 4 of the 7!! Please fix. Thanks in advance.
  • What’s the point?

They make those certain very useful power ups unavailable after you spent your coins a few times for them, and won’t unlock them until you’ve fulfilled various requirements. No amount of coins can help you. This is scummy. What’s the point of having coins then?
  • Pay to Win

This entire game is pay to win. It’s pretty disgusting to see EA doing this with every game the can get their fingers on. Love the idea of Tetris blitz, but it requires way to much time to unlock something when you can just pay two bucks for it.
