It’s a dress up game. I like it.

Don’t get caught up with spending money which is oftentimes needed to enter the competitions. The competitions are too centered around costumes and wearing ball gowns. Even when ball gowns aren’t needed, the styling with them get the most votes. Also, the top looks are always white with blonde hair even though the darker skin shows the details and color more.

Pros: good game concept, good graphics, the House feedback is great. Sharing closets—you can share with your House and with FB friends. Rally: You win a lot of prizes, collaborate with your House on looks, etc. Cons: 1) Challenges: Having to spend $2,000 or more (in game money) to receive (or not, depending on the voting results) a total prize (IF you get 5 stars during voting) valued at $500... 2) Top Looks: There seems to be a way to hack this game, with some of the same users making Top Looks about every 2/3 challenges. Not very fair for everyone- defeats the purpose of the game. Also, a new user is pitted against a seasoned player in voting which is grossly unfair to the newbie, as they can't even compete with more elaborate hair and makeup.

I love this game, how the clothes are real fashion I could only ever dream of getting to wear, the ever expanding makeup and hair styles, the props, the different model versions and most of all, the themed, story centered challenges. It’s the only game I’ve been willing to spend money on. My only beef with it is the voting system, it seems crazy to have low levels go up against high levels, I wish a vote that went towards a low level when up against a higher level weighed more. Other than that, I feel like there’s a lot of thought and love that’s been put into this game, it’s well planned, balanced and progressive. Also, when the system goes down, they reward us, it’s really nice how thoughtful this game is and hard the developers work to provide such a wonderful experience.

I like the challenges but there needs to be some improvements. It’s enough that there are required items for the challenges, why do we also need “suggested” items? And don’t get me started on the “clone” issue (where players choose the looks to create and vote for on social media to ensure top looks). Things like these and the items you can only get by spending real money are hurting this game and destroying the creative aspect. Hopefully the creators will address this.
  • Dress up for a new generation.

I have been playing this game a long time. Longer than any game in my game playing history. Do I love it...yes. Is it pricey ...yes. Do I think they listen to my countless suggestions...sometimes. It should really be 4.5 stars for me because it’s not perfect but it provides me with fun entertainment.

Started back in 2014 and loved it back then, yet had too much going on so stopped playing up until last season & I’m literally addicted. Covet is my bitch❤️
