  • Chat is not syncing with pc

Major issues syncing the chat with pc app. Besides that great app
  • Rarely Works

    By Smurfing awesome
I’m using the most up to date iOS and I get a black screen or an “unable to login” notification about 90% of the time. Completely worthless.
  • Good for conference calls

    By Paul262007
The app works well with an iPhone or laptop but was a bit tricky to understand how to enable the microphone.
  • Having issues with recent conversations

    By mrmurphy003
For some reason It doesn’t save my recent messages, so when I go back into the app after only 30 minutes it doesn’t show the chat anymore. Can’t find anything online either about it.
  • Can't keep signed in

    By JimmyJoeJimmyJoe
Can't keep signed in. Terrible application. It's the worst app on here.
  • Needs serious work.

This app STILL doesn’t support split screen on a 12.9 iPad Pro. Who on earth needs this app to be full screen? Also doesn’t sync well with other instances of Skype.
  • Skype stopped working with recent update

    By Manikandaraja
Skype keeps asking for credentials and not connecting even after providing correct credentials. It's not just me and to my entire team in work.
  • You would think they would make this more business user friendly

Please note - some people are writing reviews saying how wonderful this is and how they use it on the computer at work and it's great. Please note that most of us who are writing the reviews about how bad this is are trying to use it on their mobile devices and it does not work. There's a very big difference between Skype for Business on a Mac or PC (I use it at work and it's fine) and the Skype for business mobile app. Please be clear which one you are reviewing as they are VERY different products. My reviews below still stand The glitches I mentioned below are fixed so I am upping the stars. A partial message isn’t an issue anymore. But the app is so inconsistent. The biggest complaint I have about this app and Skype for business on my computer is even if I have someone in my contacts it’s still only comes up with the phone number and no name 80% of the time. So I have no idea who the person is who is calling on either device. It’s incredibly annoying and really a problem that should’ve been addressed. If this is a business application we should know who is calling especially if they are one of our contacts. Also the app is incredibly annoying because if you have a call that you didn’t missed or declined it still shows up as a new message so I always have a badge of 50 or more messages and there’s no way to go and quickly clear them. You have to tap on each one. Also whenever I delete a conversation thread it just comes back. Come on you all. There’s a reason my company switched over to different (better) video conferencing but we still do use this as our main phone line and IM. (Previous review) I really thought when this moved from Lync to Skype for Business that they would fix everything but nothing has changed. The most annoying thing (at the moment) is when someone writes to you, it shows that you missed the message and shows the beginning of whatever was written but when you click on it to see the message it takes you to the page to write a message but doesn't show you what was already written. Just a waste of time. Also, the "status" (available, away, etc.) is useless using it on your mobile device - in mere minutes, while you are checking your emails, etc. your available status switches to inactive. What is the point of having this on a mobile device if it won't stay available? Really bad planning. I can't believe they haven't done any upgrades or updates or fixes.
