  • Gold messes up the initial app!

I use to see ads for places i want to eat then gold hit and almost every ofer is gold. It is mixed in. Considering deleting app because I'm not paying for gold! I can wait for coupons in the mail or just pay those fees for the food instead of paying for an app fee and the full price.

I have used this app for several years but was very disappointed to discover I now have to pay for some of my favorite restaurant deals. Very disappointing.
  • And then there was a subscription

Suddenly, all the good deals require a monthly subscription.
  • Not good anymore

Was a great app for finding good deals on food but now all the deals they used to have for free are hidden behind a membership paywall that you have to pay monthly for.

I’ve been using the app since I first visited one of its markets to look for graduate school housing. Since that day it’s saved me hundreds upon hundreds of dollars, and it’s enticed me to try new places I had never considered until seeing a hosted promotion. It’s great for both consumers and businesses alike. I also signed up for Hooked Gold the first moment it was available, and the price is beyond worth it. Without fail, every time I redeem a Gold offer, either a nearby customer or the cashier themselves will comment on how great the offer is and inquire about the source. It’s crazy to me that it isn’t more widespread in this campus community.
  • Do not like the new system

The gold membership system has made the app difficult to use. It used to be very easy to see deals near me. Now, It’s almost as if they made the app harder to use to encourage people to pay for their new “membership” Program. Please make the free version of the app easy to use like it used to be.
  • They make you pay to unlock the deals

It used to be fee but now they make you pay to unlock the good deals. I’ve loved this app for years and it’s always been free.
  • Sudden change

I’ve been using Hooked for the past 3 years and have had no issues. But all of the sudden the deals that I’ve been getting for YEARS, I can’t anymore because they’re only available for Hooked Gold? I had just used a “gold deal” the other week with the gold brimming and the app never told me I had to buy a membership. I’m just confused as to why all of the sudden I need to pay for a membership...?
  • Great start!
