  • Very helpful app

I so enjoy the work done to keep me informed on my stock and the financial landscape.
  • Used to be great but completely lost its luster and way

I’ve always enjoyed using Seeking Alpha for its user generated content. It was a nice outsider look compared to the equity research reports I read from professionals. However, I never thought the analysis was worth any more than $5 a month. I’ve now noticed that a lot of the articles are paywalled reducing my time spent on the site. I’ve gone from keeping up with my portfolio and reading all the notifications including the Wall Street Breakfast to seeking alternative sources. I am hoping the paywalling is reduced slightly more before I completely delete the app and unsubscribe from the newsletters. The app itself is fine but it is not worth the price to access content that appears to be increasingly paywalled.

  • Great App, but some detail has not reached yet

I use this app very often to check stock, article, and comments. Thank you for giving this app! However, recently, I noticed the stock value is not updating in real time. Also, the notification is saying always 1 even though I read all of them. Please, improve some qualities in the app, then, it should be one of great app in the future. Thanks!
  • Good and Bad

Seeking Alpha is a good source of stock and market information but has really made it frustrating give the very short life of articles before they become paid subscriptions. There must be a better way to monetize the service with clamping down on subscriber utility. Very frustrating!
  • Seeking Alpha tries to be all things & fails

    By AWordWarpPlayer
I have been a reader of seeking alpha for over three years. Like anywhere else, you need to find writers that match your style of investing, and they have some to match any style. Unfortunately, SA has recently begun trying to be all things to all people by offering news, stock prices and stock charts to readers and it has caused their app to perform miserably. SA would have been 4 stars until this happened. I can’t understand why they allow this dismal performance for features that users neither need nor want. I have an app that I bought to give me real time price data as well as charts. Why would I want the delayed data offered by SA, particularly when it causes the rest of the app to perform so badly. They should at least allow users to turn off prices and charts.

  • Premium version is over priced.

Too expensive, might as well get a WSJ subscription!
  • Not a Great App But Good Content

The app UI is pretty horrible but I enjoy the content and analysis from the armchair quarterbacks.
