  • Great app!

I’ve told almost every one that rides about this app. I don’t ride with out this app going and haven’t had a problem with it. Works fine to me. Love the fact that if something ever happens then my wife and 911 will be notified of my location! That’s a great reason to have this and use it. Thanks for making this app! I’ve seen others have problems with there app crashing with iPhone 7, I had it on a 6 and now the iPhone 8 Plus and no problems so far. I am wanting to see how the drain on the battery goes with the new update.

If I ride a bike, then you need this app. Keeping up with your routes, tracking mileage, and sharing with other riders are just some of the features. And the Crashlight feature is such a great safety feature. I’m always tracking my rides, regardless of how short or long, using ESR.

Someone pulled out in front of me on a busy road and it did not notify the paramedics. The others that stopped, called 911 and they came out. Idk what went wrong

I used to like ESR. It saved my butt a couple of years ago, when I crashed, broke all the ribs on my right side, and would’ve been lying on a little used road for quite a while, except that Crashlight notifies my family, who called it in ASAP. But the latest version is a huge disappointment. Here’s what I ran into in the first hour of riding after an “upgrade”. The Crashlight settings weren’t carried over. Had to re enter them all again. Hello, that’s a newbie programmer mistake. Crashlight triggered while I was riding. No big deal, the old version would sense I was still riding and cancel it. Unfortunately, the new version just kept screaming at me through my Bluetooth headset. The only way I could get it to stop was to close the whole app and restart it. Which erased the ride I was recording. I really don’t trust this new version.
  • No response from devs?

Interested to hear the response from Devs to the guy who’s phone bounced along at 90 miles an hour and crash detection didn’t pick it up?!!
  • Bug city, no support

Unable to use the Apple Watch app. Crashlight doesn’t turn on. Unable to reach support, so this is a nice $15 lesson. Hopefully one day someone will come up with a better design. There is a need for this kind of app, but EST has dropped the ball.

All I can do is start a ride , everything crashes, please make support fixes for iPhone 7 iOS 11 , this seems like an amazing app and I really want to use it.
  • Ride monitoring let down

So I loved this app and the protection it would give me knowing that if I laid the bike down (crash detection) someone would be called... so today, my phone fell off the motorcycle at 80-90mph, bounced rolled and smashed on the ground. (Amazingly phone is fine because the case is awesome-so it wasn’t a problem with a broken phone). The aluminum case was cracked and screws holding it together sheared, but not a single phone call was made. The system failed... luckily I didn’t need it, and now I know I need to find a different security blanket. Waste of $15. App deleted. (Which is good because it’s a battery hog too).

App crashes on iPhone 7 with ios11. Also phone immediately heating and draining battery as soon as app is launched.
