  • Awful

    By HHEIA
After the Catalina update nothing is working. I contacted Microsoft about getting a download that isn't a subscription. The woman was happy to help me and got Home Office 2016. When I tried to download the programs using my receipt I found that I didn't have the necessary information to do so. Now I keep trying to get help on my order and no one will answer my questions. I am at the point where I am out $120 and still can't access any of my files. Thanks Microsoft and Apple.

  • Signup issues

I cannot get my subscription to work. In mac app store i signed up and it says i have subscription. I go to sign in and office says no subscription found. I go to get my 30 days as that is the only other option and MS office says I already have account. I reset password - does not fix it. I have deleted liscence to see if I can start over - no change. By far the worst experience I have had on app store.
  • Horrible !!

Accidently click App but never downloaded. Now they're calling to charge me $299. I get this free from work. Why would I pay for it. Force sale. How desperate can they get !!
  • Rip-Off

    By Tom-Tomass
This is a rip-off, it does not work with existing spreadsheets. It locked them up just like a read only and you can’t update or save any changes. I had to delete it from my MAC. If I could I’d rate this at a negative 25, my older 2011 version works better.
  • Apple tells me to cancel and buy from MS directly

    By Hershey 0606
Wow. I recently purchased subscription for Office 365 through the Apple App store but I have not been able to activate the software. Apple says its a Microsoft problem, Microsoft says its an Apple problem. Finally, Apple support has told me I should just cancel my subscription from the App store and order directly from Microsoft. So the app might be great, who knows? But Apple says don't buy it here. Why is it on the App store?
  • MS Excel update can not open existing files

    By Yani48
Updated, yesterday 15Nov19, to latest per alert received from Apple's App store only to find out the update being incompatible to existing files containing years worth of data. Updated Excel will open a new/blank file, but when it comes to opening an existing file (used as late as 4 days ago) displays: The document "Name of document.xlsx" could not be opened." with no explanation/recommendation. Any suggestions/help?????
  • Refuses to let me sign in to my Microsoft Account

    By glh1995
Everytime I try to log in, it reverts back to the screen to enter your email saying the session timed out. What a load of bull. Also asked for personal key information that I’ve never seen before.
  • I already bought this, so why subscribe?

    By JG602
I purchased the MS Office Suite back in college for my laptop that included permanent license to use Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Excel and a few others indefinitely. Now, some 2 years later, none work and when I go to open old documents or to create new files they all prompt me to 'sign up' or 'join the subscription.' I already paid to use these apps, so what exactly am I subscribing to? What did I pay for? Terrible way to do business. Either the definition of 'Indefinite use' has changed or ol' Billy Gates needs a reminder. Very unhappy.
