1/19/19-update Called and account was refreshed. Cleared everything out. Hopefully now all will be fine. I will keep updating review. For now, I’ll change to 3 stars bc the girl was so nice and helpful. 1/16/19 All kinds of bugs with this app. First off, I’d like to say that when I signed up for site without paying (opened new account with different email address) a few days ago I got ice breakers like crazy. I think I received 10-15 in one day. So, I decided to sign up but the deal they offered was $7/month for 6 months BUT I had to use my old account that was attached to the specific email I used when I initially opened my account back in 2010. Now I’ve been on here 2 days and have received few matches and no icebreakers sent to me. I seen someone on there that I would match with so, I sent a smile and hit to add him to my favorites and he disappeared. He is no where to be found. I contacted Eharmony and they told me I blocked the guy. I said I’ve only been on 2 days how could I block anyone? I have had contact with anyone yet. They said I could’ve done it on accident. Idk how but ok. I asked them to unblock him for me. They said, unfortunately, they can’t do that due to privacy and security issues. I said he was a match and I’m telling you I did not block him. They said they could email this guy to reopen the match and I agreed for them to do so. Still haven’t heard anything. I’m so upset. I’ve had very few matches (less than 10 I got to choose from). I am not attracted to any of them. I’m very upset. Oh and one last thing, I went on there last night and realized the few matches I have were matched to me in 2016!!!!!!! My profile wasn’t even active then!!!!!!!!!! 😡 I am gonna contact them one more time and if they don’t do something I may have to contact the BBB. And all of you should do the same if this is happening to you. Maybe then, they will make some changes. ** Just got back on today and now I have all kinds of old emails AND guys from years ago. Seriously come on EHarmony.
  • You have to upgrade for pictures

    By Nuuuuureia
You have to buy the upgrade in order to be able to see te pictures. That is not nice, and before that they make you do a big questionnaire. Then ask you to pay... I lost 40 minutes of my time for nothing.
  • Big scam!

I went with eharmony paying a premium annual fee, $175.00. You make a profile, pic. Etc; They send you about six people that match your type each day. A week after starting into this racket, I am not allow on the account. Not told why and finally I call and text eharmony and get a lot “You lied or did so thing inappropriate but we can’t share that to you. Wait a 5 days and you will know. Never wrote to anyone just sent smiles(their version of likes). I get a email of a profile picture of another face than mine with my name. Still eharmony thinks Im a liar about motives etc. No refunds, after finding out one woman reported me as inappropriate when I have no history of her (unless it was a like). So I’m out 170.00 because that is in-their t.o.s. That if you are lying of age, marriage or inappropriate comments you will lose the account. BUT! you can buy another account and dish out another 170.00 and be apart of us. Don’t trust eharmony and READ THEOR TERMS OF SERVICE! Thanks eharmony for making me a liar and a bad man when all I wanted was a monogamous relationship. I wouldn’t trust their money back. All it takes is one person to call you misappropriate, when they have record of all my history.

These dating sites are such a joke and very disappointing. Eharmony is even worse than Match. Better off taking your money and going to a nice bar.
  • My response to Rating

Not too impressed at this point. The only one who e-Harmony has matched me up that has communicated with me is my ex. I met Steve on another website before I tried e-harmony. We dated for six months found out he was lying to me several times so I broke up with him. E-Harmony tells me I’m 100% compatible with a lot of people but they don’t seem to respond when I reach out to them. Respectfully, Deb Poynter
  • Met the man better than my dreams

Somehow this app connected me with the man I’m now madly in love with and planning to marry who I would have never met otherwise. We share the same oddly specific goals in life and can’t wait to pursue them together! He is kind & charming and when I met him in a coffee shop he was everything he had been from the app (and texting and calls by that point). No app can promise to find you a spouse, but I’m incredibly impressed and amazed I found mine on here. PS. Try out the “what if’s”! Those can really be some hidden gems.
  • Worst dating site/app known to man

If you reading this, you’ve considered downloading eharmony. This is your first mistake. Not only is the initial investment humongous, but it’s non-refundable. Whatever you do, you’re stuck with. As an average human being, I’ve been on this site for 2 months and smiled/sent messages to nearly 100 women. Not. One. Response. All inactive accounts. Don’t fall into this trap. Don’t download eharmony. Don’t lose 100+ dollars.
  • One of the worst dating apps

Such a waste of time and money.
  • Met my soulmate

    By DryQ
This was my first time using a dating app and I was at first a little hesitant but following a friend’s advice and the assurance that eharmony was more focused on quality relationships, I decided to give it a try. I was prepared to go through a throng of futility but I can honestly attest to the fact that eharmony are legit in their matching process. I met my now girlfriend in record time, as we started communicating, we were sometimes marveling at how much we have in common and how compatible we were. It took us a week to realize that we were perfect for one another and after our first date lasted about 13 hours, we met for lunch and couldn’t leave one another afterwards, we spent half the day talking like we knew each other for years. From that day, we knew we were just made for each other and 3 dates later everything developed naturally. Like I said, initially I was reluctant to using the services of a dating app, but eharmony is the real deal.
  • Wasn’t worth it

I’ve been using for about two weeks now and I’m not impressed at all for what they charge I expect better!!! I’m getting matches that are miles away or a state even though the distance thing is set at a reasonable setting! It was def not worth signing up and paying for I deeply regret it!
