You can still take your morning paper wherever you go, but the ePaper also has an evening edition, allowing you to stay up to date on breaking stories that day and give you a sneak peek at what is to come the next morning. No matter what time it is, you can stay up-to-date with your favorite reporters and columnists in an easy-to-read format. Downloading the app is free, but you will need a subscription to access the paper. The monthly and semi-annual subscriptions to The Dallas Morning News ePaper are auto-renewing subscriptions. Upon purchase, you will receive access to The Dallas Morning News ePapers. Prices for the subscriptions are $4.99 for one month and $29.99 for six months. Payment for this subscription will be charged to your iTunes account upon purchase. The subscription will auto-renew within 24 hours of the current subscription expiring.     Latest update say you can now go to the beginning of a section from the side menu. I cannot find anything that allows me to go the the front of a section. Still have to select a feature and them go back to get to the section start. Definitely not fixed

    When i chose sections and want to go to a section, why does it go to an article and then I have to back out to get to the front page of that section? Now it’s more clicks to get to the front page of any section! That’s improvement? Absolutely horrible! Can I undo this stupid update?
  • Poor performance

    I use the app on my phone and on my Android tablet. One day the app works fine and the next it doesn't especially in getting article to pop out. Lately it won't pop out articles at all on my iPhone. Notified customer support and was told to check my connection!! I most likely will not renew. It hasn't worked properly since last update.

    1. I’m prompted to repeatedly login, even though I didn’t close the app or reboot my iPad. 2. The “sections” selection is a list of articles, not sections. 3. The link for “app support” takes you to the same list as is shown on page 2 or 3 of the paper, none of which has contact info for app support, hence my “review” that is more support ticket than review. 4. Minor, but I agree with another reviewer, how hard would it be to put the iPad date and time at the top of the page?

    This is terrible. When I get to the comics it turns off and I have to start over. Sometimes I can sneak up on the trick page by going backwards. Please give us the old one back.

    I enjoy reading the Dallas News from afar, and paid for about two years of service, but now am unable to read content on my iPad or Android doesn’t even bother loading up news at this point. Used to work unusable. Can NOT recommend anyone look to use at the current point. If fixed, would go back to 3 or 4 stars...

    This app now crashes frequently and won't load. Requires attention from DMN! This is the third time in 2 weeks that the app has failed. It says “Code 1 Restart App”.
