  • Missing basic functionality/productivity

It is ridiculous to expect me to move from google inbox app - where I can delete an entire folder with one swipe - to clicking individual emails one at a time to delete them all at once. What a waste of time! Seriously?? Come on google...you can do better. Bring back Inbox or add the basic features that made it so functional and practical as add them to the gmail app.

Since Inbox is going away - I tried this app. I can swipe to archive in both directions, but no ability to snooze without 3 additional clicks? Terrible. I hope this is fixed - looking for other app options now instead.

  • Terrible replacement for Inbox

No pinning with notes feature, no integrated reminders (the only way I’m able to make sure I regularly see my reminders is to integrate them with email), no split screen support on iPad, strange formatting issues compared to web, no swipe to snooze, ugly ads jammed onto my screen. I understand you need to monetize but not worth the annoyance given the problems with functionality. Trying Outlook and Spark... I used to tease people that used Outlook but most of that was because I was comparing to Inbox. So disappointed you’re getting rid of such a good email application and forcing people to such a crummy and unenjoyable one. I’ll be switching to something else.

Inbox was such an innovative app to manage emails. Pin emails I want to read, sweep the rest away. Sweep emails away by day and category. Gmail makes me manage every single email. Nothing like traveling back in time to use email again 👎

I have used Gmail for several years with no problem. I updated the app this morning. I have lost everything I had on it. This is a difficult situation. I keep emails until the subject is resolved.

Sad to see Inbox going away. I had an email I was trying to find in Gmail and struggled. Opened Inbox and immediately found it. Hope you change Gmail to emulate Inbox since you’re ditching Inbox!
