  • Excellent training tool

As an Air Force JTAC Instructor and Evaluator, there is no better commercial app to use while conducting training in a dynamic environment. Having the ability to plot and range MGRS coordinates with 1 meter imagery is invaluable.
  • Great App

I’ve tried several apps when it comes to Military use and use in my hobbies such as hunting and fishing. I have been able to mark way points on big bodies of water and rivers and it takes me right back to them each time. Great app and well worth it!
  • Does exactly what it says

I don’t know about any of the lesser reviews are talking about. The description says it all.
  • Awesome and versatile

My husband and fellow troops used this when deployed and I’m so thankful they had it. But we have found it to be equally useful in our outdoor activities. I hadn’t expected it to be so versatile. Thank you for providing a great tool for our troops and for our rec time. This app rocks!!!
  • Great tool

Just like every good toolbox, you should have plenty of tools in it. I’ve had this since it’s release and used for a variety of tasks.
  • Effective and Accurate

Using this app for reference is flawless and is especially helpful in the field. This system enables me to have my own GPS in conjunction with BFT if I’m out of my vehicle as well as it helps spot for executing battle drills during training. It is accurate and is flawless even when I don’t have service.
  • Been a great help

Excellent application. Have been using it for years both Stateside and OCONUS. Worked for regular civilian application as well. Highly recommend and spend the time needed to learn how to properly use the application.
  • Need more

This is a great app but it would be awesome if we could get a update with some new icons on it for fire team and squad and platoon use it a lot for planing.
  • Worth the price

Okay, so I am writing this review from the perspective of an Artillery guy. Bottom line, this is app is insanely accurate and does what it says what it will do. How Many apps out there, other than military devices, will get you within 2-5 meters? I’ve used this for fire mission planning to actual fire missions. Never has failed me and can’t believe this isn’t more popular than it is. King of Battle!
  • Pretty basic for the price

This app doesn’t impress me for the price. Nothing much “tactical” about it. Actually kind of disappointed that I bought it. Can I get a refund? Actual review -trying to navigate to a point is super difficult. I attempted to fill in all the required information but it showed me a point in a way different location. I’ll chop that up to user error but the interaction should not be that difficult. I simply was trying to navigate to a point that was about 400 meters away, just to play with the app. I couldn’t. I can drag my crosshair to a position and can view the grid but I feel like there should be an option that says something like “navigate to this point”. The title makes one assume that this app will help navigate when in all actuality this app just gives you a grid location. Update: So I HAVE TO use a 10 digit grid. I was attempting an 8 digit and it took me to some random location. Still, not friendly. -it can only track my by using cell towers or at least that’s what the warning tells me once I open the app. I know android has navigation apps that can use the phone as a gps style location tracker and does not rely on cell towers. For the price this should be a standard. It doesn’t help much having to rely on a cell tower. I understand that this is not intended to be used as a sole means to navigate but it doesn’t help without towers. There is no need for this app if I can just use google maps. -what is the grid box icon for? Maybe add a information tab under settings that states what each icon does for the user. Back to the grid box, if that is to represent lines like on a map then it should match the actual grid squares and not just some random grid that gets placed on the map. -frustrating cause I added icons on the map but after I closed the app and reopened it the icons were gone. -for being $11 the drawing feature should be included. That’s a bit extreme to charge $5 for that. If this is a navigation aid then me drawing a line for my route should be standard in my aid. Otherwise I just bought an over priced reference point app.
