  • No Ink to Text

If you’re looking for the “ink to text” button, I will save you time. Many of the write ups about One Note forget to mention that this feature doesn’t work on iPad. Every other major note taking app has this functionality.
  • The Best Note Taking App

This is the best and most convenient note taking app that I’ve used, between Evernote, Wunderlist, Google, iOs Notes, TXT files and this. It’s easy and convenient to organize and store all of my notes, and I love being able to make tables and format them. It is an awesome app that could use some more “To-Do” features and reminders, but is still used daily for me.

I had it on my iPhone and Windows 10 laptop. Works great. I can access my notes anywhere across all my devices. I can also go online and access OneNote from my work laptop. Great for takings notes, planning etc. I recommend OneNote.

I've not traditionally been a Microsoft fan, but OneNote is increasingly entering my world because it's just so useful for so many types of tasks, and it's so cost-effective unlike some major competitors. The app feels a little heavy in places and isn't quite bullet-proof stable, yet, but it continues to improve. Good job guys- keep up the good work.

Like OneNote. Just needs to be way faster like Evernote ... in everything from loading to in use to sync.

I type my notes on a laptop but I study my notes on an iOS device most of the time. There needs to be a button to turn off editing so when I’m scrolling through notes I’m not accidentally having the keyboard pop up. It’s so irritating to keep having to make the keyboard go away. Myself and others have requested this since Onenote for iOS first came out and it’s always ignored. Besides that it’s great software.

I have used OneNote for a long time. It’s perfect. You can access it wherever you go. Even while offline. So ya, not much really to say about it. Just that it goes well with Word and Office Lens. I have all the Microsoft apps on my iPhone 6 Plus. They are incredibly handy. OneNote is a must IMO. I would be lost without it. Just get it. It’s a no-brainer. Try it out and see if you like it.
  • No good if pages are beyond a certain size

All my pages open in the app initially, but once I write too much using OneNote on my Surface — not sure how much — the page no longer opens in the app. This is very frustrating. Microsoft support was unable to find a solution. Also, anything written with a “pencil” on the Surface is unreadable in the app.
  • Convenient

Started using One Note in 2013 but never really realized its potential until the past year. Love being able to send things to it on the fly from PC or phone and open it remotely.
