  • Barrons App

The Barrons App is Horrible. It never updates. I’ve emailed Barrons; got the automated response; but no one reached out. I’ve downloaded it multiple times and same problem every time. Truly pathetic.

Please address bugs in Watchlist. App seems to be a real laggard and needs improvements.

Nothing special, neither in a good way nor in a bad way. Could you please get rid off those huge spaces in between paragraphs? Articles look like an elementary school textbook. It’s even worse on iPad. A 1-sentence long paragraph, huge gap, then a 2-sentence long paragraph, another huge gap...
  • Obviously Barron’s doesn’t read reviews!

I am so frustrated with this app. The present problem I face is articles failing to load. Every single review in the App Store is negative. Can you imagine a magazine / newspaper company not being able to print and deliver a newspaper. That is the same failure now for Barrons digitally. The incompetence is hard to believe.
  • App crashes; no offline viewing

I am amazed at how bad this app is relative to its sister app, WSJ. My app does not download for offline reading. It crashes often. Barrons has good content and when you have a network connection AND the articles load properly / app doesn’t crash, it is good. Unfortunately, this is 50-50 with the app as I constantly have to reboot it. The issue that initiates me the most is the inability of the app to download the full magazine and allow for seamless reading offline. How has this not been fixed yet!!
  • Unable to get my Watchlist

I find this app to be clunky. When i click on a newsfeed to Barron's, the app doesn't recognize me as a subscriber. Also, it is unable to get my memorized watchlist. I'm not sure of the benefits of subscribing to this service.

The news updates are great. The grammar and plain laziness by the staff writing the articles and the editors letting it slip is unacceptable. A 4th grader can proof these articles better. Again the articles are up to date, and informative, however they are heard to read smoothly.
  • Cannot connect to server

iPhone 6 iOS 12.4.5. Deleted/reinstalled-downloaded. WiFi/mobile. No matter what, cannot connect to server. WSJ app runs flawlessly.
  • Home screen no longer works

Update: Seems to be working now. Original: Home screen is blank, so there is no top stories or event news. Real disappointment...

A long time subscriber. Watchlist still not corrected. Three weeks of unloading and reloading app for updates and still no watchlist. A service call with talking to 4 reps a week ago and watchlist glitch still not corrected. This is a paid subscription. Yahoo and CNBC are fee. Highly recommend Barrons take into account the demographics of subscribers. Review the reviews. Boss man 2 years ago versus current. What happened? Big down turn in markets this week and use free version of CNBC. SHAME ON YOU!
