8/11/2020 ok - the problem is that if I swipe to the left to see the beginning of a horizontal row of recipes (such as today 2 rows featuring Ms. Brown), instead of staying on that screen so i can view what recipe is at the beginning of that row when I am on 2nd, 3rd, 4th or whatever recipe to the right, instead if just letting me go to the recipe to the left, it swipes to a different screen no matter how slow i go. I am not wanting to go to that screen - something needs fine tuning so that you don’t go into a different screen when you are just trying to see a recipe to the left. It is very irritating to keep going to another screen when I am not wanting that to happen. It is an exaggerated response. This does not happen if swiping to the right. Rows also end up with the beginning of the row into the row already & so when I swipe to see what the first recipe is, it too easily goes past the recipe instead of stopping at the recipe or even letting the entire square where recipe is to show fully. I don’t know how i can explain it more simply. It’s like the brakes need to be better so it doesn’t overshoot to the next screen when I am only trying to see what the first recipe on the row is.... 8/4/2020 1) The below continues to happen & I am very busy so, no, I did not contact yet another place with this info. Today, in Diners, Drive-ins & Dives, there is a recipe for “Old Fashioned chicken & dumplings” with a photo of beef & numerous reviews saying this is not the recipe that was on TV. Does anyone read these reviews except the people who screen them for publication? Why doesn’t anyone fix this?!? It just looks like no one there cares if something is awful or not. Maybe go read the reviews there & do something to make it right. In the last couple weeks, when I try to swipe the “recipes on tv” that are lined up from left to right, (not the chefs across the top but below that - although I haven’t tried that section), the screen very easily goes to previous or next page instead of just going to next recipe. I have to go very very slow to just get recipe and not previous page. Even with that, the screen is very jumpy & goes in another direction when I think it will stay on the recipe so I can tap to view the entire recipe. I hope this can be fixed soon. Thank you

There are some great recipes I’m going to try. One of my favorites is Bobby Flay. Not a lot of ingredients, not expensive ingredients. These are simple , lots of flavor, easy !

    Totally Awesome!
  • No casting in app

    By Dustybob21
The lack of ability to cast videos to my tv limits the usefulness of this app. The advertising says stream anytime anywhere and suggest it’s possible to stream on your tv but the app isn’t on my Samsung tv apps, nor is it available on my roku, and doesn’t work with chrome cast. Would be useful if I could watch on my google hub in my kitchen or on my tv in my living room but what what use is watching on my phone only? Edit: Cast button does not appear while playing videos. Casting works fine on a dozen other apps with casting built in.

  • Good app but...

The only problem I’ve seen after using the app for 3 days is Notes. If I write a note on my iPhone it doesn’t show on my iPad. This is enough for me not to purchase this app after my free subscriptions expires. Modern technology is beyond having to do the same work twice. I give it 3 stars because of the variety of classes and recipes. For the classes, READ FIRST so you have all your ingredients ready. The ones I watched assumed some things were already done. But at least you have the ability to pause and rewind.
