This app has been a great reference and resource. And a tremendous amount of energy and effort has gone into updating the features and the database. So, I can see why the developers would want to cash in by transitioning from what used be a free version to a subscription fee-based model. But if you think about who needs this information most: folks with multiple ailments and medications, typically the elderly who have to constantly fight with insurance companies for coverage and medication, do you really want to burden them further by charging a fee for this information? Good luck with your business. Unfortunately I won’t be a customer anymore.

When I originally found this app I thought it was great. I had to pay .99 cents to just dl and install the app on my phone. Then, it required a subscription to use “special features.” My subscription ran out and they want even more money than before for a lesser subscription. I’ll just google meds from now on. This is just a scheme to rake in money.

I would have given it a 0 star but not possible. I downloaded it for free trial and 2 days into the trial I get a payment on my paypal for the yearly subscription. Mind you I cancelled the free trial just after I got it so I wouldn’t be charged. There was no way to contact developers to try to get refund so talked to iTunes/Apple support who helped with refund that I should have never been charged. Just beware that if you go for the free trial, you very well may end up charged for the subscription.

I have been using this app since 2015 and it has been awesome. But now I can no longer use it because they have transitioned to a subscription service. I expect an app I downloaded for free 4 years ago to remain free. I will be deleting the app today.

This app has been great since it’s infancy. What more can be said? The person behind it’s creation must work tirelessly to bring it to where it is currently. That cannot be said of a lot of apps or their creators. Jim Clark

This used to be a nice to have app, now they went the subscription route after getting users aboard. I'm willing to pay for an app up front, not a monthly fee. Goodbye!

I use this app for work as a reference to do my assessments I’m a registered dietitian. I like the drug side effects, what this drug is used for and drug interaction.

I fell in love with this app as soon as I started using it. This is something I really needed, keeping up with my own meds in addition to those of various family members. Very user friendly. I’ve only ever had trouble with this app once. It either wouldn’t open, freeze on the main pain and possible a couple of other things, I don’t recall. I received immediate, very responsive attention after I reached out to get this fixed. One reason I chose this app was because it was free, I don’t pay for apps. If I’m not mistaken, the bugs I mentioned above were not long after this change. I mentioned that I don’t pay for apps but would gladly pay for this one because it truly makes part of my life so much easier & that truly depend upon it but that I would not pay until it was working correctly. App fixed, working perfectly, happy me, ready to pay. Then he gives me a free subscription for my troubles! Very happy girl. I had been using this app a few years before this issue occurred and while I don’t typically leave reviews, I intended to for this because it worked so well for me…I never did. Then, after the instance where I had difficulty, the speed in which my issues were resolved & the friendly response I knew I HAD to leave a review. So approximately six months later here it is. Long review = Great product

I have used this app for myself and to help my patients understand their own. It provides more than basic information about a medication. You can easily access interactions between meds, including which medication contributes how much of any side effect. I think this app is a must have for anyone who wants to be knowledgeable about medication they are currently taking or may be taking. Dr. A
