  • Fix this update

Since the update, tree download after login is disastrous. The items loaded number surpasses the tree total and apparently never stops. Like others I’ve had to remove the app to stop the process. Catastrophic, as I love the app.

A little help may be needed to get this finalized. But this is a great app!

Lately, I’ll do a search and it will automatically kick me out of search results to all DNA matches. I will go through hiding those matches that the relation is so far back only to find the next day they are still there in the que. Notes won’t be there either. It constantly says I have new matches far more than show up. If I message through app my initial message never comes up and sometimes it takes matches weeks and months to get back to a person and you do not always recall what you said in that message. Ancestry can make the whole process easier and they don’t.

It indicates a person as a half sibling, in fact they have the same parents, I couldn’t correct it.

  • Rewarding research tool

Drawing a family tree was a long tedious process for many years. Record requests and red tape made it difficult to obtain data to find out what distant relatives you have. The research tools provided by Ancestry.com make exploring the past much more personable. I was quickly able to trace back to my great-grandfather however I was surprised by many small details that I did not know about my relatives. I can’t wait to research further back and see who my distant relatives were and still are. Maybe on of the best games in the app store.
  • Force Closing

Since the last update, the search feature in the tree is force closing the app. On a different note, ancestry prices are forcing some of us out of continuing with our trees. Options for seniors would be much appreciated.
