  • Love this app!

I’ve been using MealBoard on my iPad mini for saving recipes, planning meals, and creating meal plan templates for 4 years. I love that I can search for recipes on my favorite food blogs and download them right into the app. My kids & spouse can easily navigate the meal plans and recipes to help out with the cooking. Now that my spouse and I both have iPhones we are planning to make good use of the shopping and pantry functions. Great app! Would highly recommend.
  • Everything I want

I LOVE this app! It does everything I want! The web browser feature for importing and adding re Iowa is a GAMECHANGER. I love having my groceries list available and sorting it by aisle. So helpful. The calendar app integrates nicely with iCal and I love that. It means I don’t have to keep track of what I’m cooking wvery night. I can plan WEEKS in advance all the meals I’m going to eat. Also it’s so flexible. This app really works for me. 10/10 would recommend! Also it’s a one time purchase as opposed the subscription services that do WAY less
  • Still pretty darn good!

Been using this for a while, and the only complaint I have is that the ingredient creation makes many versions of an item. (Red apples, apples, green apples, fresh apples, and Granny Smith apples are all different items, so having "apples" in one's pantry will not translate to having the "fresh apples" needed by another recipe. That said, the importing, schedule, share, categorizing and shopping features more than make up for any inconvenience from the double items in the pantry. And you can always edit a recipe to reflect what you call apples. (And leave specifications in the preparation option, so in addition to "chopped" I write "green" for the apples.) And I love being able to email people what I am making, even if they don't have the app. (Although I often suggest getting it.) I highly recommend having it as an option in the digital cooking age, it's great for putting all those recipes from the internet in one place, and organizing them! TLDR: Worth it!
  • Stopped impulse shopping!

So perfect; everything on my phone, shopping by categories, items removed from list when put into cart, can import favorite recipes (easy), can price compare easily, recipes are customizable, can pick lan meals for any number of days then save that weeks plan to reuse, etc. I’m saving sooo much time and money. Thank you!! 😄
  • This is the absolute best meal planning app

    By lxforever
In the day and age where developers want you to subscribe to keep a good app running, this app is fantastic and it feels like the developer truly cares about users! Quick to answer questions, always providing just the right new features, this person and their app is a gem. I’ve had this for five years and haven’t needed anything else. Meets all my recipe, planning, leftover needs. Fantastic!
  • Worth the money!

I went from spending hundreds each week, still going out to eat a ton and throwing away tons of food, to spending about $250 each month, cooking almost all meals, and very minimal waste for our family of 4. A game changer!!!
  • Suggestion to take great to best

Right now, the app is great. I depend on it weekly for shopping and daily for cooking. One thing that I would be willing to shell out premium dollars for (see cam scanner model): an OCR reader. I have several old cookbooks that I have to use separately from Meal Board because, let’s face it—I’m not going to spend the time to type in all the directions and measurements, etc. But if I could simply snap a pic, let the reader convert to text, and the fix any errors... that’d be AMAZING. Please consider it! It would turn me from a dependent user to a bonafide addict. 😁 Thanks!
  • Tried and true

I have been using this app for years! Makes meal planning so easy and efficient. I love that you can upload recipes from the web or input them manually. Also love that it auto populates your shopping list.
  • Couldn’t grocery shop without it

    By Rasfam97
This is the best meal planning app out there. I love the frequent updates and improvements...I’ve even suggested a couple improvements and gotten responses about them. I love planning out our meals and having my grocery list (by aisle) generated for me. I cannot imagine grocery shopping or new planning without it!!
  • The absolute BEST!

    By topchef80
This is the only app you need. I use it to meal plan for weeks at a time, import hundreds of recipes, and generate my shopping list effortlessly. It helps us stay on budget, and my spouse can view the shopping lists and edit them as well. I also love how you can customize so many aspects of it - which stores you go to, what aisles are listed, prices..... everything. Highly recommend!
