From over 5 million downloads, here’s just a few of our 5-star reviews: •"The semester I found StudyBlue, I went from a 2.8 to a 3.8. The flashcards, study guides, and notes are so easy to make and the mobile app lets me use it anywhere!” – Alex, Student •"I use StudyBlue flashcards for group engagement projects. • THIS APP IS MISLEADING AND FRAUDULENT!!!!!

ITS NOT FREE! YOUR ONLY ABLE TO ACCESS PIECES OF THE INFORMATION YOU SOUGHT! YOU THEN GET A POP UP TELLING YOU THAT YOU MUST PAY IN ORDER TO SEE THE REST OF THE FLASH CARDS OR INFORMATION. THE DEVELOPERS OF THIS APP POST A RESPONSE TO THOSE THAT LEAVE THEM A NEGATIVE REVIEW WITH NICE WORDS AND COMPLETE CRAP FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF MAKING IT LOOK LIKE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ARE JUST DUE TO MISUNDERSTANDINGS OF HOW TO USE THEIR APP. POSTING THINGS LIKE HOW THEIR APP IS FREE. THEY CONVENIENTLY FAIL TO MENTION THINGS SUCH AS YOU ARE ONLY ABLE TO ACCESS 3 OR 4 FLASH CARDS OF A DECK FOR FREE! THE REST OF THE DECK APPEARS BLURRED OUT UNLESS YOU PAY, AND LET ME TELL YOU THIS APP IS FAR FROM CHEAP!!! AND WHAT YOU GET FOR THE PRICE IS ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!!!

I just wanted something simple to help me learn a new language. This was not that. It’s flash cards so you wouldn’t think so many hoops to jump through but that would be wrong. After a few min I deleted it. I want flash cards to learn a language not spend time learning an app.

I wish I were able to leave 0 stars. The application is not worth a single penny. The course in which I’m taking has very little materials and is not as described by developers. Save your money and get the FREE Quizlet application which is more user friendly, cost effective, and not dense.

Just read a review experiencing the same problem as me. The app is useless. I cannot find ANY material. That I need. Seeing that the review was posted November 1st and that I’m posting this April 25th, doesn’t look like anyone is going to get help. Awful. Edit: I wasn’t able to see MY materials that I made.
  • I used to love studyblue but can’t even use it now.

I’ve used StudyBlue for a few years on and off. I used to love how I could join a class at my institution, create my cards so easily either using my phone or on my computer, and then study them from my phone or computer. It was so easy I recommended it to most of my classmates and even had some of them using the flash cards I made to study from. After not using the app for almost a year I come back intending to make flash cards for a class to study for finals and I can’t even make a set of cards on my phone anymore! I keep getting error messages, either a message indicating that they can’t connect me to my network or an error starting a new deck. I can’t search for or select my institution and I can’t create my own personal deck in my backpack because the network error keeps kicking me back to the previous screen.

All my flash cards are gone. I had 100’s of them set up into categories. Extremely disappointing
  • Archive?

StudyBlue has a very helpful team, and I was able to work out the bumps. I definitely recommend this app to any student. It’s easy to use and is reliable. However, I notice that a lot of my classes are getting archived. Now, this isn’t that big of a deal since there is an archived folder, and I just have to “restore” the class. However, I don’t know why this is happening. I’ve never archived any decks or classes, so I am a little confused as to why I keep finding only one active class and the rest of them in the archive folder. It isn’t a hassle to use, but I’m just curious as to why this keeps happening. Other then that, this app is wonderful and well-made.

I downloaded it then I deleted I was on a website then it told me I have to download the app to get the whole thing, I downloaded it then it tells me to upgrade and buy the full version I’m already paying for college and my textbooks why am I gonna buy a app? I thought once I downloaded it it would be good but what a disappointment.

Don’t bother downloading the app unless you already know about and are willing to pay for the subscription. If you do/are trust me you can find better and more convenient study materials out there for free. Don’t waste your time or money.
  • Really? Can't move a card between decks?

I want to like Study Blue. I really do. But please... When I delete a deck, make it actually disappear without restarting the app. When I want to move a card between decks to reorganize, why isn't that simple feature available? Also, please do like Quizlet and let a deck be filed into multiple folders. Much more flexible that way.
