  • Waze took me to the wrong place

    By Torilaw
I was trying to go out to eat and then it took me to some random neighborhood 15 minutes away from the actual destination.
  • Used to be great

This used to be the best app. So easy to use, and I loved that it kept up with my speed. But now, it takes FOREVER to do anything. If I’m looking at making a change, sometimes, I need to find the information fast. Why is it so slow now? I have changed to Google Maps. I would go back to Waze if they could fix this.
  • Hardly works.

Most of my drives during the past week have not been satisfactory. The app spends the entire time ‘searching’. Why bother?
  • Not as good as it used to be

Seems to ignore surface streets as alternates. Almost guaranteed to find the most congested route. I’m writing this at my second 8-10 cycle red light.
  • Too Slow to Update

    By Paulinsydney
I really like this app, but I’ve stopped using it and gone back to google maps. It’s just too slow to update when it needs to re-route, say, when you’ve missed a turn off. Invariably, you miss three or four other options. I notice that the mapping lags behind actual position, which exacerbates the problem. I’m using a brand new iPhone X, so it’s not the device, and I dont have this issue with google maps. If this gets fixed, I’d prefer to come back to Waze!!
  • Great Navigation

The app is great and it helps me navigate better without being stuck in traffic. Also, the mileage should be to the nearest tenth as always (when driving and the total distance we have to travel).
  • More Than GPS

This app allows users to contribute making the drive safer and more efficient. I have had alerts warning me of potholes, cars parked on the shoulder, wrecks, police and ice on the road. Other apps I have used might report heavy traffic, but nothing like this. I really like this feature not only does it keep me aware for my own safety, but I can contribute to help other users. I also like that you can plan your drive. My job requires I travel to different cities each day of the week. When I plan my drive the night before I choose the time I want to arrive. The app lets me know what time I should plan to leave based upon the distance and past driving patterns of the route during that time. If something happens that will cause my trip to require additional time, such as a wreck, an alert is sent to me saying I should leave earlier than planned. It’s like having an assistant on the phone. Love this app!!

Don’t work when you under ground or around big building.
  • The BEST APP on my phone

I’ve always thought Waze the most brilliant and useful of Apps - but today, getting out of midtown NYC amongst marchers and marathon runners, it surpassed itself and got us on our way unbelievably fast. Yes, the male voice is a lot slower giving the next instruction than the female voice - other than that, it’s a great App and the only one I use for directions
