This dictionary meets all the good expectations one would have of Collins. It is easy to navigate and has long and helpful entries.

Pros: 1. Transcription 2. Up-to-date interface Cons: 1. No sound 2. Favorite words do not sync between devices 3. Somewhat slow search/indexing Also, as a general improvement, some verb conjugation section would be great.

The new quiz (flash cards) doesn't work with your bookmarked words. Useless...
  • Don't get this for IPA

If you want a dictionary for phonetic alphabet transcription, skip this one. Some of the ipa characters come through as question marks.
  • Yet to be completed!

It needs an speech option (maybe this option has to be online) for pronunciation and also more examples. But generally is a good one. I like it.
