Series 3 Apple watches suport elevation recording, but Runkeeper still does not for standalone watch activities. Still no audio cues on Apple Watch 😒

I recently paid for the premium upgrade. Unfortunately it doesn’t appear I’ll be getting my money’s worth. After finally allowing capability on the Apple Watch without the presence of the iPhone, the app is not working properly. The tracker advanced the time, tracked calories burned, and even showed my running route when I checked the RunKeeper app on my phone; however it did not register any miles. Hopefully this issue will be resolved and I will be able to give the app a favorable review in the future.

Great tool, easy to use and flexibly adapts to your own work out styles and variety. The historical views are great and motivating to keep yourself going in the right direction for more workouts and stronger results. Highly recommend it .
  • Pushes for monthly subscription!

This app used to be very usable without a paid monthly subscription. Now my user experience is ruined because each time I click on something the app asks me if I want to subscribe to access to it when before I used to be able too do it for free. Goals used to be accessible without a subscription!
  • Loss of stats.

If you change your email you lose all the stats from the previous. Bit of a problem. My current stats are not my best. Also when the phone goes into lock you have to put your password in every time you want to check your status while running. Dangerous.Should stay on the screen similar to navigation. It is better than Nike Which I have used previously

I used to be very happy with Runkeeper and it was my go to app for running. When I got the Apple Watch I liked it even better. However, since the Apple Watch app makeover, which deleted several features in the app, runkeeper is very inaccurate. Even the newly built in fix gps option does not help. For instance: today I went for a run. Runkeeper said I ran 7.19 miles. After using the “fix gps” button this changed to 5.34 miles. When I finally went online on my laptop and edited the run manually I managed to get it to the right distance which was 6.00 miles. This means that during my run I get false information on distance and pace, rendering the app pretty much useless. A button to “fix” bad accuracy after the run does not help, I need accurate information when I am actually running!
