  • Auto-pause Workout

    By 1EleanorRigby
If you do workouts where you don’t move the phone about, or you stop during your walks, I say don’t try this app. I walk my dogs. I use my iPhone with the app. Suddenly, my mile long walks claim I’ve only burned 8 calories because when I stop it pauses and stays paused until I go to stop it. It’s a recent Down-Date. I cannot turn off the feature as I don’t have the Apple Watch and iPhones don’t have the feature to shut off that stupid feature. Why pause my workout after 1 minute and I continue to do my workout? I’ve even had it pause while I’m doing a DVD workout. I’m now forced to manually log workouts and I can’t use my past workouts because I’m only given three or four to choose from in walking routes. I’ve been using this app for years and years and now I’m considering deleting it and trying something that ACTUALLY works.
  • My go to app for walking

Love the app. Like everything about it except for once a while when there’s overcast sky, the gps measurement of distance can be quite a bit off. And that’s why only 4 stars
  • Most recent update junked the heart rate monitor

    By Donkeydonkdonk72
Most recent update makes the polar heart rate monitor that used to connect and work just fine not useable. It won’t even connect now. Disappointed as now the paid subscription for the app is useless to me.
  • Love Map my fitness

    Love this app
  • Good but not great

    By annalou
The only complaint I have with MapMyFitness is that the gps tracking is pretty dismal. I live in Anchorage, Alaska and I have tested the same distances on multiple apps. MapMyFitness has the worst accuracy of any app that I’ve used
  • Music messed me up

    By ippySkippy
If this dam thing would sync to Spotify, it’d be PERFECT
  • Had a few rough patches but now it’s gold

    By MickeyGlitter
Glad I gave the app another chance after a few really bad versions a while ago (years back). The app was unreliable at best but it’s totally turned around now and I can’t imagine going out riding without it. ❤️
  • UA Record was better

I constantly have problems with this app syncing with my Apple Watch and recording my workouts. I have to either turn both my phone and my watch off or un-sync and then re-sync my watch with my phone.
  • Apple Watch

It doesn’t sync with the Apple Watch very well
  • Works 98.9%

Been using this app for years but lately I’ve realized it’s not shuffling my music. At all. It’s annoying to the point I select no music and run Apple Music or Spotify too. All the shuffle selections are selected so I don’t know what happened there. Also stop telling me my pace when I’m doing a weightlifting workout. That started a few months ago too.
