Whitney has shared her personal fitness journey and workouts for many years and has now designed programming to help women with their journeys. Whitney has a passion for empowering women to shape the best versions of themselves mentally and physically. This app does just that with programs and daily workouts curated to challenge and push you to your limits, to help you get into the best shape of your life and reach your fitness goals. Alive was planned and designed to be as simple as possible and easy to use. Focusing specifically on the workout experience so you have confidence during your workouts. We are excited to continue improving and evolving the app with our Alive community in the process. Features Programs Alive includes 2 different programs to choose from based on your personal goals. When you join a program you are guided through a full schedule of workouts that span over several weeks. This takes any guesswork out and keeps you focused on your goals. Daily Workouts Alive includes plenty of daily workouts that are split up into different categories (HiiT, Abs, Pull, etc) so you can decide what type of workout you want to do. Journey The path to a fit, healthy life is a journey, not an overnight process. The journey allows you to keep track of your progress by weight, photos, and a timeline of progress. Consistency is key so as you continually hit your goals the app will reward you with achievements along the way! Subscriptions / Alive Premium Alive is free to download and offers two Premium subscription options, Monthly and Annually. Both options include a 7-day trial. Alive Premium provides full access to the app including all programs and daily workouts. Subscriptions will be charged to your credit card through your iTunes account. Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You may manage your subscriptions and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Settings after the purchase.     I love the variety! I just finished a work out and I was really lazy to do it! But the fact that the workouts are quick and you get sweating! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!

    The app is great. The work out cues come in real-time and it’s structured to be challenging without feeling like you’re going to pass out lol. Just wishing there was a fully at-home program.

    This is great for people who are starting to workout. Great for some body definition and overall a good sweat session. *If you are looking for strength training programming in a larger scale, this is not for you. There is no guide on what you should be lifting if you are working on strength. And Reps are very generic, not small heavy sets.

    I love this app so much. I can honestly say I use it every day during my workout. It keeps me focused and on track with where I want to be. I Can not go without it now!
  • Okay, but I wish it had a bit more flexibility

    Overall I like this app! A few things I’d love to see changed: - I wish the timer that counts down in the workout / the moves being demonstrated could be viewed landscape mode not only portrait - I wish the sets / reps could be changed for more advanced users. For example what if I want to do 5x8 hip thrusts instead of 3x8? It'd would be awesome to be able to change that or at least to mark that you’ve done differently in the workout. - It would be nice to be able to keep track of the weight being used for each move to help to see progress as we go along! - As another user mentioned, it would be awesome if there could be an Apple Watch version or syncing enabled with Apple Watch! Otherwise I really like it. It’s a great start to an app. Great job Whitney!

    I LOVE this app! It’s everything I’ve ever wanted in a workout program. As someone who works out 5-6x a week, I’m thrilled to say Alive Strong leaves me sore! I’m excited to see my results and am currently on week 2. One thing I would love to see incorporated into the programs in the future is mini ab circuits. I know they are available in the app, but I would love them incorporated into the programs as well! That would make this my dream program.

    But there are no free options or even watered versions of her workouts. I mean, if I wasn’t a broke graduate student I’d pay but I’m already paying 30$/mo for my gym.. So there’s nothing free about it. I guess broke college women aren’t a demographic! Which is fine. I’ll just use her YouTube videos.
