Description

THE PEOPLE-POWERED LOCATION NETWORK. With over 1 million location verifying beacons already built, and hundreds of thousands ready to be enabled, join us in connecting dataistic networks to the real world. The XYO Network app allows your iPhone or iPad to become a Bridge, connecting to Sentinels (via Bluetooth) and Archivists (via mobile data or WiFi) to power XYO Network by gathering heuristic ledgers, which provide proof of location. Alternatively, your device can act as a Sentinel, becoming a heuristic witness for the XYO Network when near other XYO Bridge devices. When data that you have contributed to the XYO Network is later used by a query on a Diviner, you can receive XYO as a reward via the XYO Matrix website. To learn more about XYO Network, please visit https://xyo.network/ Features: Provide heuristic data through XYO Network to other users making queries, set up and organize your devices, monitor your data, and connect your geodata keys to XYO Network. Required Permissions and Services: Bluetooth: Sentinels connect to other devices via Bluetooth. In order to detect them and connect with XYO Network, you’ll need Bluetooth services turned on. Location: The XYO Network app uses your device’s location services to orient the heuristic ledgers provided by Sentinels. WiFi or Mobile Data: In order for the XYO Network app to connect with the rest of the network, it must be online. Storage: XYO Network app only stores app-related information. For more information about our data collection, our privacy policy is available at https://xyo.network/privacy/ Notes: See the specifications for your Apple device to see how many open Bluetooth connections it can support. All BLE-enabled devices have limitations to the number of connections they can have open at one time. XYO Network app operates in the background of your operating system and may impact the battery life of your device. If closed, all XYO Network tracking and data gathering will immediately cease until the app is restarted. XYO Network works with iOS devices running at least iOS version 11. I have 74,119 bounds witnesses and no archivist. There was never a default on mine, several support emails didnt help fix it either. Now the app crashes every time I run it because (I think) the amount of bound witnesses an no place to go. I do believe in the whole vision that xyo has. The use cases make total sense hut we need to push to make sone of them come to fruition. I do wish support could he better - they have downsized and that takes a toll on some other areas. But I stay focused and confident in the company. I bought stock shares and continue to mine and trade for xyo. Please fix network app.

After using the app to flash a XY4+ (which is what the company sells you) to a SentinelX (which is what the network uses) it can not be claimed or controlled by the bridge. Developer was first made aware of this issue several months ago and has not fulfilled their promise to correct it despite the fact that it directly affects the stated goals of the company and thousands of users. Use at your own risk, support is nonexistent.

All my problems with sentinel not connecting cus someone else claimed it when it are fixed. Everything works as it should. And I was able to add an archivist back. So everything works as it should and I’m really enjoying both apps again. 5 stars

  • Crashes constantly

I drive a lot and run coin app on one phone and the XYO network app on another. I run the XYO network app on a iPhone 7plus with the latest updates. Over the past month and a half the default archivist was down in that time I have 68,000 bound witnesses built up. The app instantly crashes when I open it. However my regular phone is an iPhone XS Max, runs it fine. Obviously the 68,000 bound witnesses aren’t on my regularly used phone.

I think they’re developing team should always be working out bugs and building like every other app on the app/play store. Other than that I love technology so I think this is awesome. I am also one of the people that regrets not mining bitcoin in the first place. I was 15 at the time and I know way more than I used to. Maybe I could get a job there? I’m the type of programmer that can spot flaws asap. I have always had trouble with HTML and learned so much from my mistakes. I love the IT and everything people are researching day to day to help make the IoT better and moving forward every year! My SentinelX still wont show up on my profile. I’m waiting for the fix too. So I am just gonna sit back and if they don't fix it ill send it back for a new one. Big deal. If they don’t fix it of course I will be angry. Be sure to drop 5 Stars!

There is not an archivist in my app. I tried to add one but it said the token was expired. Can you help?
  • No archivist

My app has no archivist and when I search for tutorials about how to add one they ask for the IP address of the archivist. If I knew that, I could add it! Much of the support material seems to be written for computer geeks and makes assumptions that you already know/have information that rookies generally don’t know/have.
