I spent 20 minutes trying to get to the “free” portion of the app so my kid could play it. Once I found the extremely hidden X on the subscription page the app opens to he accidentally clicked on one of the premium options while making a slime and there was no way around that screen. The entire app is horribly expensive at $6 a week and if you don’t pay that you get stuck not doing anything at all because you can’t navigate away from a purchase screen. Uninstalled the app and bought him one he actually has the ability to play.
  • Thanks, I hate it now

First, my favorite slimes (Royal Blue & Honey) were locked behind an absurdly expensive subscription paywall (no one-time purchase option) and the sensitivity of the slimes was messed with (they feel far too reactive now compared to the initial launch of the app). Now my favorite slimes have been removed from the app entirely. Some of the newer free slimes I liked were taken away as well. And my frequently highly rated review mysteriously disappeared. New slimes are disappointing. Quicksilver looks like one giant glitch. This app used to have the most realistic slimes on the App Store. Now it’s becoming as low quality as all the others while taking slimes away for seemingly no reason. Not to mention the subscription model is one of the most absurd I’ve ever seen for an app like this. Thanks, I hate it. And I used to love it, before the recent updates (likely permanently) messed up the sensitivity and locked previously free slimes behind a paywall. Also, the recent influx of very short 5 star reviews is highly suspicious.
