$40 subscription?? Come on guys, that’s ridiculous

Despite the app store saying this is FREE ... it actually costs you $39.99! Even to use the 3 day trial, you need to create an account where they can sell your contact info. User beware!
  • Awesome!

I downloaded the app and signed up for the 3 day free trial. I think $40 is a bit expensive just to find out what kind of bug you’re seeing. BUT, my first picture instantly correctly identified the bug! I am very impressed. It makes me want to go find more bugs to identify them! The price tag aside, the app works very well.
  • Finding bugs

The app worked great finding the bug that I was trying to identify. However I could not enlarge the pictures the app has to see how close things look. Nor can I get any information other than the name of the bug.
  • First time using

I have never used any type of book or app to identify insects. I saw this insect and wanted to know what it was. I am very impressed with how fast the identification is and the amount of information given.
  • Terrible

By I Can't Take it Anymore
Took a picture of a spider I’ve never seen before. Perfect picture. It gave me a response with 55% accuracy but that wasn’t the problem. The only info they provided was not eating habits or whether it was poisonous or anything else. It connected me to Wikipedia !!!! For the etymology of the name of the spider it says it was which it wasn’t. Even if the ID was accurate, the info it gave me was totally useless. A joke really. Wikipedia ? That’s the information it provides. On name origins ? Nothing else ? Joke app
  • Free to download but not to use

Free download but once I downloaded they wasted $39.99 to use it .. no thanks
  • Love this app

I’m really good at getting bit by spiders so now I can identify them.
  • This is not a free app

Can’t use it without paying. Should advertise as such.
  • Worthless

    By NatureCO
I used it once, and the ID wasn’t even close to accurate. When I tried to use it again, it kept prompting me to subscribe to the pay version and wouldn’t let me use the free app at all.
