  • A game that relies on patience and strategy

There are reviews that say that the game is unfair because of the matter of healing and not being able to kill entire mobs. In my opinion the game is actually fairly balanced. My strategy is to run and sneak to collect berries on the map and then quietly do away with lepers and such until I can lure a stronger enemy away from the treasure. Your spoils are admittedly a matter of luck, but where I’m positioned I can fast travel to several locations to try my hand at gathering resources and killing small mobs. The fact that you gain EXP from resource gathering is a great plus for this game. You have to play this game patiently and smartly or you won’t get far. After a few deaths I learned my lesson. It is admittedly a pain that the game continues in the background when opening up my inventory but I suppose that’s to add to the difficulty. I would say my only complaint are the number of resources required to build certain things, but again, it’s a game that is clearly about slowly building yourself up. Thus far I haven’t be raided (knock on wood) so that might potentially put a damper on my enjoyment in the future. We’ll see.

I wish it was either slightly less challenging, or had more game quests. I find I get into this cycle of collecting to have enough power to collect. I'm level 67 and really want to explore a dungeon. I have cleared the area round one dungeon, but I now have to champion the gatekeeper....? It feels like way too much work for a game. Please keep it interesting for all levels to enjoy. It is horrible to walk away from a great game due to it becoming too tedious. I do very much enjoy this game and thank you for what you have given me so far!

Once you get to a certain point they make it IMPOSSIBLE to make any meaningful progress unless you spend a bunch of real money. I even spent a little bit but it is so rigged. The equipment deteriorates and breaks WAY to quickly. (What kind of mace is destroyed after killing twenty five zombies??) And when you spend WEEKS saving up resources to make armor and potions and weapons, if you die once you lose EVERYTHING you’ve worked for. This game has so much potential for fun. I would spend a good amount of money to buy it, if it were fair. But it’s just a freaking cash cow. The developers are very shrewd. I’ll give them that. Unless you have a rich daddy that gave you his credit card, save your sanity and go buy Don’t Starve on Steam.

I really enjoy this but the game is super glitchy today, I’ve been trying to finish a dungeon for way to long as it keeps crashing

Game is fun, but progress is, of course, too slow.

Can’t get the game to even load. It gets about 75% loaded and says it’s having connection issues, I hit “retry”, it gets to about 90% and crashes. My internet is good, so pls fix this.
  • Why

Why don’t the other human bots get attacked by the zombies? This game still makes no sense even three years later.. they shouldn’t run with them like their partners it’s ridiculous
