Microsoft Whiteboard provides a freeform intelligent canvas where teams can ideate, create, and collaborate visually via the cloud. Designed for pen and touch, it lets you write or draw as smoothly as you would with ink, while automatically recognizing and transforming shapes and tables as you draw. It enhances teamwork by allowing all team members to edit and comment directly on the canvas in real time, no matter where they are. And all your work stays safe in the cloud, ready to be picked back up from another location or device. -- Create freely, work naturally – Microsoft Whiteboard provides an infinite canvas where imagination has room to grow: draw, type, add a sticky or an image, stack things up, move them around – it’s all possible. The touch-first, pen-first interface frees your ideas from the keyboard, and the intelligent inking technology transforms your doodles into great-looking tables, shapes, and lines that can be copied, pasted, and combined with other objects. --Collaborate in real time, wherever you are— Microsoft Whiteboard brings every member of a team together, whether they’re huddled around a wall-size touchscreen or working from their own devices across the globe. On the Whiteboard canvas, you can see where others are in real time and start inking on the same area – or not. It’s about getting everyone on the same page – or board. --Save automatically, resume seamlessly – Forget having to take photos of your whiteboards, or marking them with “Do Not Erase.” With Microsoft Whiteboard, your brainstorming sessions are saved automatically to the Microsoft cloud, so you can pick up where you left off, whenever – and wherever – inspiration strikes next.

  • Great app but it stopped working!

    By Francis0717NY
Suddenly stopped working...i tried to reinstall it multiple times but every time i start it there is a blank page with no options and nothing’s weird because it only does that on my iPad. Please, fix it!!!
  • Shareable link not shareable

    By Stevenmsu
A white board just for myself is just not fun. Turns out you don't just need a Microsoft about but some special type of account. Just to much trouble for such a simple app.
  • Great idea, borderline unusable collaboration

    By devalexwhite
Love the idea, the sticky note lists, templates, and google docs style collaboration are killer features. BUT, the implementation is HORRIBLE. I did a 4 person collab session. One person took 15 minutes to get logged in (for some reason you have to install the Microsoft Auth app but you don’t even need to open it???). People kept getting disconnected. The app crashes every time I accidentally double tap my Apple Pencil gen 2 (the eraser function). The lag is unbelievable, getting so bad at points that ink shows up a second after you draw. Panning around the art board is choppy. The smart grouping makes it impossible to select individual items. Filled with inconsistent UX (example: shapes work different than drawings so eraser won’t effect them).
  • Trash

Constantly have to sign in. And constantly losing data. It randomly decides not to save whiteboard changes.’ Update: just lost an entire whiteboard with hours of work. This app makes me angry. I bought a Hub just for this. That Pantos guy is a con man peddling broken experiences.
  • Unreliable - data loss, poor sync, login issues

    By drarubin
Critical problems.. unusable - Doesn’t handle simultaneous edits properly, resulting in data loss during discussions. Things randomly disappear - Frequent sync issues - Get logged out frequently
  • Unusable form the start

    By Lara Shakida
Can't even sign in from my school account from the app without having to install another app. After I did that, I found out how horrible the apps latency is when it comes to using the Apple Pencil
  • Deleted My Detailed Review

    By Courtgrimshaw
Apparently my previous review that I spent a lot of time writing out has been deleted. It was also negative because the app is legitimately not worth the money. However, I did NOT use any bias or attacking words or phrases whatsoever. I was strictly factual and kept the entire thing respectful. So wow I can’t believe they’d go to the lengths of erasing it completely. I’m astonished!
  • Great app but prone to slowness and jank

    By GroovinChip
I really like the features but the app can get very slow and janky. Definitely needs performance improvements.
  • Needs a couple more months of work

    By structure7
Should still be in beta. Frequent crashes and sync issues with iPad Pro. No official Apple Pencil support. Many better alternatives for now. Lowered rating. Constant freezing if you have anything more than writing on the board.
  • Extremely glitchy and no option to export high quality graphics

    By jcaprino
I tried… I tried to make this at work and give Microsoft another chance. But as usual they failed, offering an extremely glitchy application, and no ability to export my whiteboards to a vector format so they are all very low quality pictures. Don’t waste your time, instead pay for a really good app like GoodNotes 5. I wish I would’ve found that out before. Note I do not work for GoodNotes five I am just telling you that after probably 12 to 15 hours of work on the free Whiteboard app, I finally gave up because I was having toRestart the app so many times and I cannot export to a good format. I finally pulled the trigger and bought good notes five and it is excellent should have done that from the start.
