I had a scammer call me with enough corroborated information to convince me they were ready to receive payment for a credit card bill (which they must have hacked). Only, because Malwarebytes labeled their call to me as a “known scammer” I did not wind up accidentally coughing up double the amount of my bill that month. These scammers are not just preying on ignorant or misinformed people; they can present you with enough hacked evidence to convince you of their feigned legitimacy and the only thing to debunk then might be the fact that their number shows up as “Known Scammer.” Thanks, Malwarebytes.

Did not flag several attempts by a serious spammer, the.much reported SSN Scammer. Keeps calling with same messages over the LAST FOUR DAYS. Yikes! Maybe If you guys fix it and then give me a free month of premium after this failed trial, will try again. Otherwise bye-bye. UPDATE: More bad news on Malwarebytes spam software... More spam callers not caught. So I manually reported the call as phishing (ends in 2071), noticed bc spoofed to be in same area code as my home area code & prefix number. Had to block it manually. I’ll report all calls until my “Premeire” current subscription cancels out on the 17ᵀᴴ. Good luck, y’all. Stupid, I guess, somehow renewed it. Giving it 3*
