  • One star only because it was the lowest.

This game routinely has “updates” that take away abilities you have already paid for. I don’t mind paying for stuff in a game. Just like any hobby, it can cost money. But to take something away after it was purchased or won fairly is dishonest. Stay away from this one if you don’t plan on spending a lot regularly.
  • Worst Game ever

If you value your time and money do not play this game! The developers do not care about their customers. Their customer service doesn’t answer and if they do they ask for screen shots of things that do not exist. The constant updates have removed all strategy from this game and the items we’ve spent 3 years paying for are now obsolete with the new guard update. Gog you ruined a good game that many of us enjoyed. Your days are numbered now.

A really exacting game but developers insist on messing the game with their greed and poor customer care

I have spent thousands of dollars on this game, and have never been as mad as I am after the last update. The battle mechanics make absolutely zero sense now. The money I spent to gain an advantage is wasted. It’s sad to see a great game ruined by greed.

Updates games to make people spend more money. Buy something one day and it’s worthless the next day.
  • New players can’t build thru play or w/o spending $100+.

I have played this game for some years now. I have been a modest spender ($50/mo). This game is NOT designed to enable even modest growth through play. If you are a lower-level castle (<26) or a startup player in older kingdoms... forget it. You cannot improve without spending large amounts of money. The developers seem to think it is ok to preclude growth via play. I have maybe 5+ augments (curiosity, gemstone, guards, guard weapons, airship, etc.) that are within a couple of frags/resources away from upgrading to a 3 or 4 modest level, but simply cannot because the fragments/scrolls/parts are simply not available even to purchase or earn in any way whatsoever. The ONLY alternative is to buy high-level enhancements at $100s. This is baloney! Case in point, the last guard update confiscated higher-level guards that I OWNED and gave back lowest-level guards that were/are completely worthless. If people are precluded from incrementally participating in an incremental, play basis, growth, this game is solely about spending literally $1000s to compete/be a contributor to Alliance/Kingdom efforts. Bottom line, if you’re not willing to spend $1000s, this game, as a newbie, it’s almost certainly not for you. If the developers don’t allow/enable modest improvements via lower-level enhancements, stay away. As of today... they do NOT. You be the judge.

This game was extremely fun, been playing over 2 years now. The game, with its increasingly frequent updates, has left me, a mid range spender, far behind. There are now multiple events running simultaneously that promote spending, so there’s never really a time to rest. It is a war game, but large war events are held on weekends and usually overlap with events that make you choose one or the other, instead of actually warring. At this point, I use a shield 6 out of 7 days a week, so the event and mostly ignore the game. The game has lost its fun, and the only thing that changes, is the developer makes you spend more money, for a lower increase as time goes on. I’m here really only for the people I’ve met. Notice the responses to all the reviews, they are copy and pasted like all support messages. The updates are NOT for all players because it costs hundreds of dollars to get minimal stat increases when things are first released.
  • 3yr player-Do not download! Money Pit- don’t waste your time,

Developers are just after money. Updates every 2 weeks to make you spend to stay competitive. Just updated to lose more troops per attack but still cost an arm and a leg to train troops. They have about 1000 glitches but decide to release updates instead of fix current game play. Don’t waste your time I’ve played 3years and it’s getting worse

The game is sucking the life out of you. If you like to spend money you have found the right game. The developers find new ways to screw things up in the game and never fix the bugs. Any issue you have is said to be your internet when you have other devices playing same game.

The game is filled with bugs. The developers are only interested in adding new things to buy, they don’t care about the paying customers at all. The customer support service is the worst experience you will ever have in your life. Don’t believe the developers response, look closely and you will see the same message used over and over again.
