It’s possible to find some of these suggestions on YouTube but not the consistency and range. It’s fun to learn from the pros.
  • App does not work well

The classes are great, but the app does not work well when trying to download lessons to watch on the go. Lessons often fail to download, even with outstanding WiFi service. For the cost of membership, the least you should get is an app that works.
  • Great but...

They got rid of the best for audio category and the way to change it from video to just audio. Don’t know why they got rid of it. But that’s a true bummer as I liked to listen on the go and it would read the lesson plan names out loud for better comprehension when you’re simply listening in your headphones. Bring it back.
  • Not for the entrepreneur.

I was expecting a lot more. Diving deeper into business. This is small talk. Like watching interviews. Not a class, for sure not a master class. You can get more on YouTube. Maybe this is why they charge a year up front.
  • Great content, terrible usability

The content on MasterClass is bar none the best, but the app experience is one of the worst. Not sure how in the world this got past even basic usability tests, but they make it so hard to get back to certain screens, like a class overview page, once a class has already started. So you fumble around for a while before you finally figure out the combination to get where you want.
  • How to get the recipe, I don’t see any in the app?

Content is really great. App has lots of bugs. I often have to force close it. Downloading videos often doesn’t work. The integration with watch doesn’t actually work it shows the track title but pause/play button doesn’t work. Sometimes it just won’t get pst splash page and I need to force close and try again. All three said the content is great if you can work around the bugs in the app.
  • Honestly a disappointment

I’ve been using this app daily for a couple of months and watched four sets of lessons. Content: The classes have been underwhelming. Yes it’s interesting to listen to a celebrity talk about what they do. However, the insights have been few and far between. Admittedly, I have read a ton of leadership literature, so maybe it’s no surprise there is nothing new in most lessons. IMHO this subscription’s value does not justify the high price tag. The money would be better spent on a good conference or several books. App: Despite the well-done graphics, the app is terrible. Navigation requires multiple more taps then should be necessary. Many users have pointed out that the app does not track your progress. Upon opening the app I have to tap My List (cannot be set as default), tap the class, tap See All Lessons, scroll down to the lesson I’m on (which I track separately), tap that lesson, and then tap play. I pointed this out to Support. Their response was that they are a new company— not even that they recognized the issue and would work on it! I will not be renewing after my year is up.

This is one of the best apps I have downloaded in a long time. I would highly recommend Chris Voss on here!
