Former Client Relation together for 25 years
Due to a divorce in May 2017 and A move along a/all other madness I had to find local more affordable service for my 4-5 lines bc of children and wireless internet and iPad.
So when si came back my credit was run 4 times, four account numbers were issued. It took 3 weeks to get activated. Upon return initially I needed no deposit but when that rep didn’t call in payday to get in on offer for I-Phone 11 Pro Plus w/5**G memory. I called back and bc it was a new month & credit dinged again I paid a down payment.
As a welcome back bc we are family at this point I was offered 2 LG Gpads to be delivered before Christmas. I talked to a few reps who saw that we were only paying activation for all hassle and even was suggested that I call in and ask for it to be waived.
I have all dates, names of reps, managers, loyalty department, and moreover the days and times we spoke as well as ultimately undesirable outcome.
I’d love to provide all this to someone who cares but I won’t hold my breath. The tablets were going to be my sons and my own way to watch streaming tv and we were both looking forward to it when loyalty dept CANCELLED THE ORDER I HAD BEEN CHECKING STATUS ON FOR MONTHS; and conveniently didn’t offer any special promo as 2nd credit check rep felt we deserved.
I am appalled and if I don’t hear from someone I’ll gladly jump ship but would much rather repair what was broken due to greed, selfishness, and thievery w/no gratitude or respect reciprocated in mind for us moving; like when I stuck my neck, finances, intelligence, and preparedness to bail him not only out of Jail for DUI, but claiming 8 dependents on W4 w/no saving to pay taxes, bankruptcy filing, paying fines, his child support on time, and the man was not credit worthy for rental, auto, retail, NOTHING, nada...and he brought into relationship less than each of my children had earned for their rooms; but they didn’t gamble and wear bedazzled studded pants, trying to look young, and shaving all! It was a lot!
Now he has all my things I carried with us for 30+ years and bc all bills were in my name and I couldn’t return to NV for hearing; I inherited all the debt and I and my son are on disability; mine for Multiple Sclerosis + 5 more Dx likely related besides the back surgery candidacy. My minor son is Autistic and has ADHD; everyone’s reaction with him including ex, my two adult children, and even counselors at YMCA summer camp resort to physical reprimand with him. It makes me sick.
As far as my opinion of you; I am sorry but I am seriously disappointed in my welcome back promises and hurting my credit and no, not any, Christmas Gifts intended were received because 1 of the 10 people who work for you could give me status updates, 1 even tried to find something better or comparable to ship expedited for my sons Christmas. One manager promised me a resolve would be guaranteed w/what I can expect by end of our call. I was excited. But got to loyalty dept and encountered a salty man, with negative listening skills, who killed our incentive order for 2 more lines via the tablets were were expecting to receive before Christmas!
Here is proof; all other info of reps names, times, promises, offers unfulfilled, gratefulness to the helpful, and disgust with the obviously unhappy in his line of work. If you’d like these details I’d be happy to provide them for you to act on coaching, retraining, or whatever your policy is for disasters like this when they happen.
You & I maybe will have a cordial positive provision & we continually advertise, share how our business is appreciated w/AT&T after a brief separation. I honestly hope myself, kids, tablets, hotspots, line for in home caregiver, can be arranged and we all enjoy another 25+ years together.
Although my heart and gut say “this too will be ignored and we remain offended at promises and unprofessional business practice, unfulfilled orders, cancellations w/o permission, in addition to missing 1st promo of 11 plus bc I’ve had 10XR for a year already but ok I got another 1 for my son and self. I don’t believe there is a contact anywhere on these platforms that is actually given any consideration, including feedback, notice of awful dings to my credit that made it impossible to secure credit for a alternar gift for the Christmas holiday... bc well; YES as I mentioned divorce buried me, oldest son default on truck loan I co-signed for, then when I got back on the bull again I returned and was excited and let down so many times in just returning.
It’s very sad and there’s no real voice for the consumer who was with you before when AT&T was my provider, then Cingular, and AT&T again because when something isn’t broke no need to fix it; U enjoyed those years. But maybe your culture changed with growth, or maybe your loyalty personnel are unhappy or flat out mean. All conjecture of course; but so sad at these misgivings when I was glad to be able to come back & have so much of credit, holiday gifts, and missed promos, promises broken, and wonder if anyone cares?
This is my final attempt to reach someone with logic and responsibility to keeping customer relations steady & stable. Not anything like I hope to share with you, if you ask, what nonsense I had endured. I’m exhausted from it all.
