This app is great I love the concept of it but I think since we do pay monthly for a subscription that there shouldn’t be so much ads maybe one in before and after the show I can agree with but not every 5-10 mins it gets annoying
  • BEST option!

Here is the deal...... If philo manages to keep the price at $20 without hiking it then it’s the best possible live TV streaming service on the market right now. Without question. Sure, some others have better features or options but for the price you get every thing that’s available anywhere else (minus local networks). • •Over 50 channels, all the most popular ones included (again, minus the big 4) •UNLIMITED DVR! 30 days, which is incredible!! •On-Demand channels, which is better than a DVR when the selection is good. •the interface is simple and easy to navigate. •you can stream on up to 3 devices simultaneously! And it’s available on all the main devices (Apple TV, roku, IOS, Android) And again..... $20 dollars people!! Verses AT&T Now which is over $50 and a crappy on demand selection. Easily over $100 after ad ons. Or AT&T Watch TV which is only $15 but around 35 channels. Not even sure it has a dvr. Or Sling TV which use to be $20 but now caters to sports packages and easily over $40-50 Or Hulu Live which is around $60 for basic The closest competitor in my book is YouTube TV which has all the locals and unlimited dvr for 9 months HOWEVER..... is at least $55 and easily over $70 for basic ad ons That is basically your market at the moment. I didn’t mention Fubo TV because it’s a super expensive service easily over $80. Your best bet for anyone, all ages, all backgrounds is this service right here. PLEASE hold the price Philo!!!!

They need to fix some of the issues the app has, although I admit the quality is amazing! the only thing is, is that if I click out of the app & come back to it, it NEVER goes back to where I was watching a show. I kid you not it always goes 40 minutes ahead of where I left watching a show & it does it every single time. It never leaves off to where I was watching & if they play ads it’s always a clip of the episode I’m watching & after the ad is over it then does it again where it automatically takes you 40 minutes past where you left off! Very annoying to deal with, the app is not that bad just needs quite a few adjustments.

Why am I paying $$20 a month to watch ads ?? The ads are like regular tv commercials !! I would give it 5 stars if I wasn’t payin for the 3-4 min ads
  • Why I’m disappointed

First I was really excited to have this app and it seemed like a great app and I could watch all my favorite shows I have been missing out on but every time I start watching a show Once I get back on Philo later the episodes are deleted and now I have no shows to watch because every show I save the episodes get deleted so it is a waste of money now I’ll start paying again once you guys keep the episodes on there .

No guide. Need a list view of channel schedules. Can’t DVR a single episode Can’t tag an episode to find/view later No feedback if watched episode No iOS documentation... only TV Like your content. But, reluctant to subscribe because of the poor quality of the iPad App. Please fix and update.

There is NO REASON I shouldn’t be able to hdmi out to my TV!!! Not everyone has or even wants a smart tv or Roku or any of that other crap! I have a phone and tv and should be to see it on the tv like EVERY OTHER APP! Was going to recommend but I’d rather go back to cable and a cord. It’s 2020 and this is such a disappointment.
