  • Great content so-so app and lacks watch app

    By mulderc
Love the economist but the app experience is sub par. They even dropped their watch app and have yet to replace it. Given the price of a subscription it is crazy they don’t have at least a watch app.
  • They know how you want the news

    By jsingleton1225
Great writing. Important topical info. Most importantly the app understands how it is likely to be used and offers great functionality. The audio version of stories makes multitasking possible. Only complaint is the ability to add stories to a playlist would be a nice improvement.
  • One small thing

    By Gl@sh
Fantastic content as always but difficult to search for articles in the app
  • Different And better

    By brooklinerob
Great Reporting on subjects in depth on the underpinnings of our world
  • Keeps me intormed

    By RJJames1
The Economist, public broadcasting and The NYT are where I receive my most informative input. Their in depth analysis is invaluable to me. Would be lost without it.
  • Doesn’t download weekly for offline reading

    By Mike Bruschini
What’s the point of having the app if it doesn’t store new issues for offline reading? It should do this automatically!
  • Very Informative and Practical

    By shadikarimii
Perfect for a thorough daily digest, on any or all major news-worthy subjects of one’s interest, whether that be international or domestic news, while in commute or running errands. It includes everything politics, science, culture, etc.
  • Audio playback bug

    By Nevensky
This is merely a review of the app, not Economist per se. The app is quite good, but it could be even better if it included 1. Search, it is basically impossible to find articles / Topics you are interested in this app. 2. Personalized playlist for audioplayback
  • Potentially a great app but crashes constantly

    By chasegrantjr
This app is great in design, but it crashes within seconds of opening. If I reboot my iPad it will stabilize for a couple hours, then go back to crashing.
  • I love the economist, but this app on IPad is terrible and stays frozen. Please fix :)
