I needed this app 3 weekends ago when my husband and I were out hunting for Ramps. Anyway we ate Veratrum false Helbore and ended in the hospital.
  • Feedback Email Process...

App is great, speed has gotten better, thank you! My only gripes are that I feel it could be faster, once you learn how to use the app you should be able to turn off all the help splash screens and notifications. Also, I’d like to be able to use my Airmail app to send feedback to PlantSnap but as of now you can only use iOS Native Mail app. Thanks.
  • Plantsnap app is great!

It has really helped me identify quite a few different plants I didn't know the name of. I really like the descriptions they give and learning about the plants genus.
  • Does not work well

Bad design and cannot get trees because leaves are too far away. You have to “accept” and choose the plants yourself. Primitive AI and primitive SW design
  • Need better help

Like others I’ve been disappointed in this app (recognizing it’s kind of leading edge technology). When I submit a plant it gives me a bunch of choices and then asks me which one is right. Duh. Maybe it should ask some questions to help pick the right one. Also, the developer has responded to other complaints with urls to training videos, which I’d like to visit. But the URL’s aren’t links, and on the iPhone you can’t select and copy text from the review. So no way to get at the urls without laborious typing. Boo.
  • Helpful suggestion

I love that I can take a picture and have it identify the flower, but the focusing on said flower is always quite difficult. I recommend you coordinate with another camera app developer to improve the quality of the camera.
  • All wrong

It hasn’t gotten any of my test plants correct
  • 3 for 3 correct

As stated in replies, use it correctly and you’ll get good results. You have to look at the “also might be” section but they provide good pictures and I’ve been able to identify 3 out of 3 plants I’ve tried. Didn’t expect this to work so well. Great app!
  • Needs development. Worthless now.

If you are expecting to be able to take a picture of a plant or flower and expect a positive identification you will be disappointed. I’ve watched tutorials several times. Good idea but needs more time in development.
  • Not accurate

I have had it a week and it has not been right yet. It told me the Norway Spruce in my yard was a saguaro cactus!
