  • The piggy bank stinks!

    By Iksleic
Seriously, this game would be 5 stars, except for the fact that it gets really hard after about 200 levels. The boosters don't come very often, very little rewards, and the bank... Come on! 3.99 for the gold bars you earned!? You have to pay 3.99 to collect every time the bank fills up. There are not enough moves to finish some of these levels. Not just the "hard" levels are difficult. This game could be awesome, if only you didn't need to pump money into it to really enjoy it.
  • Worst of the Candy Crush Versions

I don’t like the characters. I don’t understand the point of them . Like other reviewers, I do not like the small amount of points a player wins toward a new character or tool like a smashing lollipop or power fish. The small points accumulation was so annoying that I deleted the Candy Crush & Friends App. The play felt slower than the other Candy Crush versions. The levels just seemed boring.

This game is so very entertaining with the cute little character assistants with their funny sounds and the many different challenging rounds- keep up the great work!😄
  • Glitchy game and terrible customer service

    By Jp15167
This game continues to glitch and the timing of it is suspect to say the least. Anytime a purchase is made in the game and a level is won following the use of the purchased gold or power-ups, the game glitches and forces the app closed. These items are never returned, essentially robbing you of any money spent on the purchase. I have made several attempts to contact customer service in order to allow these issues to be corrected and am yet to hear back from a single representative of the company. The only response given was an automated computer response stating the complaints were received and to check out their community board.
  • Still fun!

After all these years, Candy Crush is still fun. I admit that sometimes the games frustrate me. The levels remain challenging and eventually the goals are met! djb

This is more fun than I thought in the beginning. I was only playing while in the waiting room for candy crush. Now, it has grown on me.

  • Game is fun but something really annoying happened

So basically sometimes you get a candy chest and this dog with a candy key will show up a few levels ahead, and you have to reach him before he eats the key to unlock it. If you don’t, you still get to keep the chest until he appears again and you’ll get another chance but it could take a while. There are a few problems with this. If you are low on lives when you happen to randomly get the chest/dog, you’re at a huge disadvantage because if you lose again you’re pretty much toast and won’t be able to get to it. Another problem is if there’s a really hard level you probably won’t be able to reach it in time, which is made much worse by the previously mentioned problem. Another big problem with this is, the chest and dog only appear on new levels (in other words, places you haven’t already beaten). There are quite a few levels (I haven’t reached the end but I assume there’s a bunch) but there’s still a limited amount of levels. The levels generally get more difficult the farther you go. This means missing the key irreversibly (unless there are invisible mechanics that affect this situation) extends the amount of time and levels it will take you to unlock the dog which is the main thing you get from the chest (each time you open one you get tokens toward unlocking the dog as a character you can play with). Now here comes the really annoying thing that happened. I was on the level before reaching the dog, and his timer was at 0 before he eats the key, but he wasn’t eating it so I figured if I beat the level I’d have one last chance to get the key. Makes sense, right? Well, I was super close to beating the level so I decided to use a few lollipop hammers to finish the level. Well, guess what happened? I beat the level, and literally moved up to the space the dog was on and then instead of giving me the key like it should, it was like too bad, the dog ate the key even though I was literally at the point where it should’ve given it to me. It should either let people have the key in this situation, make him immediately eat it when time runs out, or just change this system entirely. I wouldn’t have wasted those lollipops for nothing if this system wasn’t flawed. I personally think this system shouldn’t be tied to new levels and should instead have its own separate area and levels. Sort of like an event world or something except instead of a limited time event it occasionally opens up a level and you get one attempt that doesn’t take loves, and if you lose it closes back up for a while before opening again later. If you do beat it then the dog gives you a key for beating it. Just an idea
  • Can we get a speed up mode?

Seriously, most of the other CC games have it where once you finish the objective you can fast forward to rewards. That and other UI like ‘races’ and why you can’t just skip once you’ve found out you were last
