Planner provides a simple, visual way to organize teamwork. Planner makes it easy for your team to create new plans, organize and assign tasks, share files, chat about what you’re working on, and get updates on progress. -- Organize work visually -- Each plan has its own board, where you can organize tasks into buckets. You can categorize tasks based on their status or on whom they’re assigned to. To update the status or change assignments, just drag and drop tasks between columns. -- Visibility -- The My Tasks view provides a comprehensive list of all your tasks and their status across all your plans. When working together on a plan, team members always know who is working on what. -- Collaborate -- Built for Office 365, Planner lets you work together on the same tasks, attach captured photos directly to them, and even have conversations around tasks without switching between apps. With Planner, all your team’s discussions and deliverables stay with the plan and don’t get locked away across disparate applications. -- Works across devices -- Planner works across all your devices. • Not a good app

    By P7417
    Hard to figure out.
  • Worthless

    By craigost
I am retired and do not have a work or school account so this app will not allow me to log in. Why is this? Pretty stupid if you ask me.
  • Needs multi-tenant support

    By SgtStank
Works well for tracking team or personal tasks, but only for a single 365 tenant. The Teams app already supports multi-tenant, but once you switch to your non-primary tenant, trying to use Planner integrated in Teams takes you to the Planner website instead.
  • Team app

Constantly removes me from app and I own the company. It is frustrating and if it doesn’t work we will change to a different app.
  • Combine To-Do & Planner App

    By Send to Onenote
I love using the planner app as well as the To-Do app, but if they worked together that would be much more helpful. The reminder option and time of reminder option is hugely helpful in the To-Do app so I use that app for deadlines and planner for broad planning but it would be much simpler to use just one app with all of the capabilities.
  • Mobile & iPad Apps are out of date

    By rb_deuce
The iOS apps are missing two key features that the web client has: 1. Priority Field (Urgent, Immediate, Medium, Low). I can set these on the web but cannot set this value on a task or view tasks by priority. 2. No export. On the web app, I can export a plan to excel. From there I can make pivot tables, etc. However, that's not possible in the iOS apps.
  • Needs comment notifications on assigned tasks

    By MusicMonster09
Should build in @ notifications in comments
  • Almost there

    By spencerweaston
Trello is a bit better, if you could link to your outlook calendar somehow so that I am putting time aside to accomplish this task in planner it would be amazing. There are some further functionality that it needs to be a staple.
  • Buggy

    By gatorjos
The add task button randomly disappeared until I backed out of the plan, and then it magically re-appeared. Sweet... Not.
  • Amazing!
