Description

Nintendo's hit strategy-RPG Fire Emblem series, which has been going strong for more than 25 years, continues its journey on smart devices. Fight battles customized for touch screens and on-the-go play. Summon characters from across the Fire Emblem universe. Develop your Heroes' skills, and take them to new heights. This is your adventure—a Fire Emblem that's like nothing you've seen before! This application is free to download and offers some optional in-app purchases. ■ An epic quest The game features an ongoing, original story where new characters and dozens upon dozens of battle-tested Heroes from across the Fire Emblem universe meet. There are over 800 story stages available as of July 2019! (This total includes all difficulty modes.) Clear these story stages and you'll earn Orbs, which are used for summoning Heroes. New story chapters are added frequently, so don't miss out! ■ Intense battles Take part in strategic turn-based battles streamlined for on-the-go play with maps that fit in the palm of your hand! You'll need to think hard about the advantages and disadvantages of each Hero's weapon...and even evaluate the map itself as you battle. Lead your army with easy touch-and-drag controls, including the ability to attack by simply swiping an ally over an enemy. New to strategic turn-based battles? Don't worry! Use the Auto-Battle option to have your characters fight on their own. ■ Strengthen your favorite Heroes There are many ways to strengthen your allies: leveling, skills, weapons, equipable items, and more. Take your characters to greater and greater heights as you battle for victory. ■ Replayable modes In addition to the main story, there are many other modes where you can strengthen your allies, compete against other players, and more. ■ Original characters meet legendary Heroes The game features numerous Hero characters from the Fire Emblem series and brand-new characters created by artists Yusuke Kozaki, Shigeki Maeshima, and Yoshiku. Some Heroes will fight at your side as allies, while others may stand in your way as fierce enemies to be defeated and added to your army. * Internet connectivity required to play. I downloaded the game because I used to play it on my older phone but now that I downloaded it it won’t let me in. When I open the app it shows the loading screen but then it kicks me out. I am only giving it 4 stars because the game is great but I can’t play it

I’m a huge FE fan ever since Super Smash Bros. and this game is perfect for anybody who is a fanatic of this series. Great job Nintendo and everyone who participated in making this game!

Loved this game from the start, kind of a love-hate relationship when it comes to being a “mostly” F2P (I don’t mind dropping $5 here or there for a game I’ve invested months/years into), though I’m not going to invest into a monthly pass for updates that should be in the base game. Time to move on.

I played the game since launch. I’ve even put some money into it every now and again to ensure I got a character I liked. I always have some QoL complaints but I bore with it, because over time, some things were added to make things better. After some time, the different modes became more and more complicated, and it turned me off playing adamantly, and I became a more passive player. It was still fun, and I logged in daily to get the gifts for it. But now. Hoo boy. A Gatcha game with a P2W aspect isn’t too abnormal. A f2p gamer will always have the same chances of winning as someone who pumps money into a game, but now FEH is locking a huge QoL update behind the cost of a streaming service every month. Not even a single payment. Now, again, monthly purchases are nothing new in gatcha games. Though typically they only add new quests to challenge, or additional rewards. This pass locks updates to gameplay that other games include for every player, even to a larger extent. Because of this ‘season pass’ mechanic, I am uninstalling the game. Which makes me sad but now I have more time to play Three Houses.

It has a mouthy subscription of 10 dollars that adds things to the game that should have been in the game in the first place.

Fire Emblem is my favorite series ever. The idea of Fire Emblem Heroes appeals to me greatly - finally being able to have all my favorite characters in one game is what I’ve wanted for a while. This game has been fine enough for a while, constantly getting new and decent updates adding new and old favorites all alike. There are couple of issues with the game already - they add new mode after new mode without fixing or improving upon previous modes they have added before and some off the added characters go a bit too far (looking at Bridal Sanaki and similar child characters that are low key pedophilia bait) but there’s always been something for everyone. With the announcement of the feh pass, it is clear that the direction this game is heading is bad. They took great Quality of Life features and locked them behind a monthly paywall for no reason other than greed. This is already Nintendo’s top grossing game, they’re not struggling for money and they don’t need to look for alternate ways to gain more income. This addition is scummy and scars and otherwise great game. I hope they’ll listen to fans and reverse this decision then soon. Otherwise, don’t get into this game - it will only overwhelm you with useless modes and will not give you what you hope for unless you plan on spending thousands of dollars.

I’ve had fun with the game but the FEH pass is so scummy and garbage that it has actually ruined a lot of the game for me. Why would you put basic features behind a paywall?
